Darren Taylor is an embarrassment to Falkirk

What's he done? I've been told a few stories about him being a complete and utter tosser.

Worst one was him full of the drink and having to be escorted out of a club event!

Agree...but I was watching him in the second half, and he looked gassed. Watched players skate right around him like he was standing still.

Tbf he puts an absolute power of running and closing down into every game and he’s 33 so it’s no surprise most games he’s struggling late on. He was also left covering the rest of the midfield in that second half today.

Pleased with the result but it's 2 points thrown away considering how badly we were set up for the first half. McKay at wing back was a disaster.

Falkirk were hanging on at the end which was pleasing to see.

Not having this shite about them having the best players in the league anymore. Man for man we are the better side imo and our bench today was the strongest i can remember.

If Armstorng had started against that Falkirk left back it would have been a very very comfortable win. Very pleased to see wee Danny back.  He really is a fantastic player to watch and he has the ability to be the top player in this league.

Game of 2 halfs Falkirk bullied the first half, better team and ref who was poor all game should have given us a decision or two in the first half. 2nd half only one team in it. Armstrong took Falkirk apart, midfield controlled things and for me only one team was going to win. That challenge in the 2nd half should have resulted in Falkirk going down to 10 it was shocking and the ref should be taken to task on his decision.

Tidser could very easily have seen red for the tackle which earned him yellow. A disgrace of a player, but following orders I guess, to nail Hendry. It wasnt the 1st time he'd tried and looked like he was subbed because his head has gone. Dirty, dirty Falkirk.

Absolutely agree, which is why when Ray put him on that island, I don’t understand why he didn’t plan to replace him by the 60th or 70th minute. Ray’s awareness, as we’ve seen in his interviews, is lacking. I can’t wait to see the truly outraged responses from Falkirk to his inevitable post-game interview likely calling this a “win for the team”.

Like I’ve said we got exactly what we deserved from that second half and if it wasn’t for Doyle’s goal-line clearance we’d have got beat which considering how dominant we were first half is completely unacceptable. Whilst McKinnon does take a lot of blame there, and I’ll get to him later, the players need to take a look at themselves on that performance as well. Look at the goals both came from free-kicks from our left back area. The first we had a 2 man wall but left Armstrong (or was it Hendry) standing completely free on the edge so the ball just got rolled to him and Miller had a free glancing header in the box defended horrendously. Second goal Buchanan diving in needlessly on Gullan when he was never getting to the ball instead of standing and showing him wide. Basic stuff.

The fact it took McKinnon until 20 minutes to go to change things when it was obvious 5 minutes into the second half that we needed to change something due to Raiths change in shift is a fucking embarrassment and sums his managerial ability up. If at that point we’d have went 4-4-2 and looked to properly play on the break then we don’t lose that game but he’s a useless fucking diddy and never had us set up correctly the entire half. Bringing on Gary Miller ffs the f**k is that about?

The first half was Paul Dixon’s best game for us in months one poor cross aside he was excellent. Second half he was worse than he’s been this season. Fucking rancid performance from him. Charlie Telfer also incredibly lucky to get so long for another terrible performance from him. His energy in the middle of the park was good but his use of the ball was fucking horrible. Gomis had another good game but really tired late on and thought Bell played well didn’t have a chance with either goal and made a great save low down in the first half.

I guess you'll be changing your avatar soon....?   😎

Who was the Falkirk guy who ended up an absolute seething mess next to the main stand at full time? Braw.

Without seeing it I’d guess Mark Durnan. He seemed to be giving some of our fans a mouthful at the end of the game. He’s shite.

I'm disappointed to have drawn that despite us getting completely rode in the first half. Allan didn't fit in with McKay on the wing, and McKay didn't fit in at all. The first half was grim. We let Falkirk walk all over us and put pressure on. In a similar way to Airdrie away, Hendry and Spencer were anonymous as an attacking threat until the second half.

Bringing on Armstrong and Gullan made us more direct and allowed Hendry and Spencer to dictate the play. Gomis and Tidser both struggled after that and I felt Todser could've gone after going what looked studs up into Hendry.

Some return for Danny. Safe to say we've got our set pieces settled. Aside from that Sanderson was class, Gullan put in an excellent shift and I'd wager we'll see Baird come in for Allan.

I'm still amazed we've got such a line up of players who've been significant for us at different points over the last few years. I'm a lot more confident now. Braw result for Stranraer too.

Raith were absolutely mince in first half, we absolutely dominated them. Second half they got their shit together and we struggled for most of it but I’d say we had the better football on show. Pleasing to see us get stuck in, both teams were at it.

Loved how Conor Sammon was literally pulling fifers off the ball and not conceding fouls. Glorious.

If Longridge effort that smashed the bar at 2-0 went in it was game over. Suffice it was a bit of a surrender in the end and had the game lasted another 5 minutes they could well have won. Still seen nothing to massively fear in terms of title competition from Raith. The top 3 are probably the best in the league comfortably and will slog it out.

We’ll take full points in reverse fixture at TFS imo.

If I recall some of the previous comments, you’ve been a bit worried on conditioning...is that perhaps part of what’s happening? Something seems off in the midfield after a very impressive first half.

Formation change killed us, attack Dixon and you will get something.....which hapoened

Gomis was excellent. Him and Hendry in the same midfield would be unbelievable at this level. What could've been, eh?

I'd guess McKinnon would've been encouraging us to keep it tight first 10-15 mins 2nd half and build on next 10-15 the same. The urgency,  the work rate both going forward and defending wasn't there in the 2nd half and as much as we won the 1st half, Raith completely dominated the 2nd half and altho we were 2 up, they will be gutted not to have 3pts.

A portion of blame should be pointed towards the experienced players we have but Ray's management skills rise more to the top for blame again.

To think I was finally thinking here we go, the potential is finally coming out, then ending up with Ray can GTF

Yeah I must say again I havent seen the game but I am wary of pointing too much blame at the players.

The tide changes in games. Teams rarely get bodied in the first half then dont react. You see it all the time. The person tasked with making sure you react is the manager. This is one of those reuslts, Raith were top, at home, you maybe just would take 2-2 before a ball kicked. Certainly would have had we won last week. But the manner of the draw is fsr more important today. Cluelessness on a grand scale. Even having not seen it I know that because we made no subs till they had a goal back, and were piling it on. Once you relinquish control and let the home team go in the ascendancy you wont ever get it back.

f**k knows how Ray can kill a game so well when we need to go for it, yet when it needs killed he freezes up.
