Detournement
Labour have unredacted documents about the US-UK trade deal which show the NHS is on the table. That should to throw the broadcasters off message.
Detournement
Maybe not. The BBC are still asking about AS at this press conference. The NHS being sold off is obviously on the same "scale" of issues as Islamophobia.

BawWatchin
Corbyn just released a 451 page document blowing the tories plan to flog the NHS to US private drug firms wide open. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/boris-johnson-nhs-trade-deal-trump-corbyn-brexit-general-election-manifesto-a9219566.html?fbclid=IwAR1oY-dNpFKMTitL-ek9C6Tb_NHdf-P4vuK9SsOyWIAgkeLwLxT_m5PCBIs

It doesn't really matter whether it's in one year or not though, if it blows a big enough hole in the budget to cause problems elsewhere in budgetary terms. Looking forward to seeing what Andrew Neil does to Jo Swinson and Boris Johnson. The SNP and Labour may have lucked out by going first, because the last of these interviews will be the most fresh in the memory on election day.

SweeperDee
If that doesn’t f**k the Tories, nothing sadly will, any case I’ll be fucking right off if they begin to dismantle the Scottish NHS.

They won't. What they'll do is dismantle the English NHS, thus dismantling the funding through the block grant for the Scottish NHS, making it look like the Scottish Government are to blame for it up here.
Popular Post Wee-Bey
It's an absolute banter that we'll soon be paying 3 grand to fix a broken arm because Jeremy Corbyn shook Gerry Adams' hand and Nicola Sturgeon looks like Jimmy Krankie.
Salvo Montalbano
Think Corbyn missed a trick last night for sure. A simple non-apology apology would have went a long way to nipping it in the bud (something like "I personally and we had a party are against all discrimination and hate speech, whether it is racism, antisemitism or Islamophobia - that is why we have instigated procedures to weed out this behaviour in the party and we will continue to investigate throughly any complaints that are made. Where party members have been found to have behaved inappropriately, they have been removed from the Labour Party, unlike some other parties which continue to support members who have made discriminatory comments in the past. We apologise any offense that may have been caused and hope that these measures ensure everyone, regardless of creed, colour, religion or political belief realises that the Labour Party..." you get the picture. Doesn't admit to any personal antisemitism (which I don't believe anyway), talks up what they have done and pivots to the Tories and their racism and Islamophobia. Andrew Neil might not have allowed such an answer right enough, but he could have released that as a statement or in the follow up presser.
Kyle
Media already appear to have a handle on the narrative for these documents. Pharma companies in the US want access to our NHS but nothing in the document showing that the UK Government has agreed/discussed this. We'll see what emerges over the next few hours as journalists study the detail but this has the potential to spectacularly backfire on Corbyn if what he's saying isn't shown in the documents. Could be a massve day either way.
NotThePars
There's literally no combination of words that he could have said that would have resolved the antisemitism accusations because they're made in bad faith by people who want rid of him full stop. You had Jim Murphy attempting to block a Jewish woman’s candidacy from the NEC on the grounds of anti-semitism and multiple days coverage of Jeremy Corbyn meeting the wrong group of Jews and people still think there’s any way for him to resolve this to anyone’s satisfaction short of quitting as leader and forcibly removing the membership of everyone who joined post-2015.
Miguel Sanchez
Corbyn and his cult are anti-semetic. He didn't apologise because he wouldn't mean it. Boris will get Brexit done and get our country back.
Detournement
They obviously decided to refuse to agree with anything Neil put to them. I expect if he had apologised Neil would have became more aggressive and used the apology as an admission of guilt on other accusations. And the media as a whole would have followed suit. It's smart not to play their game. Sadly two years too late.

Its not a secret, I’ve posted several clear indicators of it recently, including direct confirmation from the lead US congressman on the side of the pharma companies.

The same applies to hormone and antibiotic stuffed and chlorinated meat. They call it pork barrel politics in Congress for a reason.

Just look at how journalists are already framing the argument though. Corbyn has made some ballsy claims in his press conference. If anything he's saying is exaggerated or not strictly true, the media will focus on that and not the real story and the vast majority of the pubic will just follow that line. As I say, this will now be a big day in this campaign. Something as scandalous as this being put out there by the main opposition will likely make or break the whole election for them.
Paco
‘Why would the UK agree to pay more for drugs?!’ asks Laura, innocently. Well why would the US agree to make them cheaper? They’re not going to stay the same price for-fucking-ever, are they? It’s called a negotiation. The Prime Minister has denied the NHS is involved in trade talks, Corbyn has proven (to a degree) that it is. She’s a fucking cretin.
