speedframe
Finding the club statement a bit concerning, the priority is not to appoint 'as soon as possible' but to make the right appointment!

loon74
Neil Cooper ? Would he come back Malcolm and foxy would be my choice with Barry making a return , this would cut the bill on tracksuits once Smith hands his back !

iamnotgarybollan
Weir saying in the courier today that he made his mind up about leaving after the Dumbarton game. That and Smith coming in just after reads as worrying signs

Purely commenting from the outside, but maybe he didn't make the decision to change it?
Loonytoons
Jose Mourinho is still available and is looking for a big club. His brand of football is worse than Smith's.

Bring Back Paddy Flannery
Weir saying in the courier today that he made his mind up about leaving after the Dumbarton game. That and Smith coming in just after reads as worrying signsI've mentioned it on this thread before that his body language that day screamed of a guy who didn't want to be there. That surely hasn't helped Forfar in recent weeks, if he had decided he was going to chuck it he should've just chucked it IMO. Barry Smith being brought in just as Weir decided he was going to walk must have alarm bells ringing for you boys.

Relegation klaxon I would say and the Board would deserve it if they appoint Smith. He led Brechin right down last season, made an absolute mess of their pre-season this season and we have 4 of his players from last season (Jackson, Burns, Tapping and Robertson) that had offers to re-sign for him at Brechin but instead chose to join us. He has negative charisma and has done very little of note at his previous appointments (Dundee's Deefiant season apart but they did have Leigh Griffiths and Gary Harkins in that team).
