Aberdeen v St Mirren St Andrews Day Massacre

Recommended Posts

FT 2-1

Another sore one on the road, 8 games 8 losses. Worrying indeed.

Again we competed well and probably deserved a point. Got the late penalty for the equaliser and Tony has just side footed it right down the middle and gave the keeper an easy save, hopeless.

We’re competing every week - unless we are at Tynecastle or Parkhead - but these narrow losses are hurting us.

Big game at home to Motherwell on Wed, need to get something there.

Should have been in the dressing room.

I've no idea what happened her, but a rule change this Summer meant any genuine attempt for the ball in the box, that leads to a penalty, will be a yellow.

Contact from Joe was minimal and player threw himself to ground when he could easily have stayed on his feet so decision was correct . Hope Saints start picking up points as they are far from worst team in this league, should have had a point but unlucky.Nae excuse though for missing pen so only themselves to blame. We were lucky to pick up all three points and need at least 3 players in Jan if we are going to finish 3rd which is best we can hope for.

That happened about three years ago ffs.

Willie Miller can’t get his head around the fact if you’re going for the ball in the box and it’s not dangerous then it’s not a red card. c**t is paid for this ffs.

He's got a point though. The rule is very much open to interpretation. He said he came out and clattered him when he had no chance of winning the ball. Can it be classed as a genuine attempt to get the ball if there's next to no chance of winning it fairly. It doesn't just need to be dangerous play it can be if it's deemed deliberate.

You're not finishing bottom, stop worrying so much.
