RiG
A selfish pal has decided to have a wedding during the football season so I will be missing the battle to be Best of the Rest. We know about our excellent record against Ayr but recent games between the sides have been anything but one sided save for the playoff win earlier this year. Certainly not expecting a straightforward victory especially with some of our key players still sidelined (Walsh, Welsh) but we're good enough to get the win if we start the game well. More often than not Ayr have had us on the back foot from the kick off so if we do find ourselves under pressure withstanding any early barrage will be key to getting something out of the game give how poor we are at coming from behind to get wins.

If we play anything like we did on Tuesday night then you're in for a relaxing and stress free afternoon.......

UpInTheAyr
Didn't think it possible to go into a game with this lot feeling less confident than usual, but we've managed to pull it off somehow.

For the most part we've played well this season with the odd blip, however Tuesday nights showing had absolutely nothing and just depressed me. There was no fight, there appeared to be no game plan, there was no quality and there was just nothing to get excited about. We managed a grand total of two attempts on goal up until injury time and even our best players looked like complete dumplings. In fact it gave me the feeling that we'd never score a goal again and I've not had that feeling for a very long time. Who knows, maybe an away fixture to our biggest bogey team is just EXACTLY what we're needing or then again perhaps the 11/8 available on Inverness is a wee Christmas bookie bonus that we should all be taking huge advantage of..................
Narey's Toepoker
In case people haven't seen it mentioned on Twitter, ICT will be broadcasting live audio commentary of the game using Periscope - a link to it should come up on their Twitter feed shortly before kickoff. Hopefully should be useful for those folk unable to attend the game. Away fans - apologies if we're too biased. Home fans - apologies if we're not biased enough!
munro7
For some reason I keep going to watch Ayr up there. Tickets and train booked but travelling with neither hope nor expectation.

Sir Tarmo Kink
You can certainly forgive the Ayr fans for shitting it considering their status as our bitches. It’ll be the refs fault again though, no doubt.

Jarballs
DJing at a Christmas party night at the Mercure Hotel here in Inverness, some of the Ayr United squad have popped down to the function room to see what's happening. Guessing they're staying here, they're currently being chatted up by some rather nice but rather drunk young ladies...
