One thing that sticks in my mind from an early online funeral 11 months ago was the feeling that in a few months time we would all gather together and have a proper send off for my uncle . Time just keeps going and going and now this week his wife will be cremated , again online only and limited to direct family etc with the same promise of a get together in the future. As far as I can see, opening up is always a risk to some degree and one that the Scottish government are not prepared to take, obviously they don't want to keep us locked down forever as some might suggest but they have most definitely taken the very Scottish attitude of "let someone else worry about that" someone else either being the uk government or another country entirely. The last thing they are going to do is open up first and risk being criticised for doing so - SNP BAD , they are happy to let England be the Guinee pigs ( and possibly hope that they get it badly wrong) so that they can come out of the decision making in a positive light. politics is played in the big bad world 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's now a farce and they need to get rid of it pronto.
