A pub which is allowed to open, but cannot serve alcohol, isn't a viable business, but is entitled to less support. They are well aware that literally no-one is going to nip out to their local for a packet of crisps and a few orange juices. It's a relaxation in name only. A pub that can't serve food and that has no outside area should surely be able to have public funds beyond furlough. I would hope that is the case, but could be a limitation of the funding I would expect us to at the very least match funding offered in other parts of the UK, otherwise traders who have venues across the UK may look to close Scottish outlets which isn't what we want. I know in Fife at least licencing laws have taken a far more pragmatic approach and beer gardens that were previously refused have been given the green light to maximize feasibility, I would hope but it's unlikely that all local authorities have been as proactive.

Billy Jean King
Hibs not expecting any away fans at all at Easter Road next season. Which may no away fans at all for any clubs. Why would that be with all travel restrictions lifted. Hibs talking pish if they have actually said that. Calm down about next season it's months away. NS has literally 20m ago said we are likely to go to near enough normal (below level zero) by July. I'd be pretty certain that timescale will see pretty close to normal crowds by August.

Billy Jean King
Interesting the use (albeit not compulsory yet) of LFT for travel to the Islands. Possibly a hint they might move to LFT to restart international travel ?

I'm taking the piss. it's quite obvious that the Scottish government view football fans as a problem group, they probably can't see past the olf firm nuggets to the 98% of trouble free matches that went on up and down the country

Hibs will be saying these things because nothing has yet been agreed in regards to fans back in stadiums/away fans. If there are no travel restrictions and social distancing is all but gone there will be no justification for preventing fans travelling. There's no need to disband anything, calm down.

In reality, whilst I don't agree with the notion of no away fans, they should be preparing for this if partial restrictions are to carry on into next season. If there is to be say 50% capacity in the early part of the season (which there shouldn't be, it should be opened up to everyone), then all stands should be utilised for home fans and season ticket holders first.
