But yes, I am critical of the UK government which the SG tends to follow slavishly albeit a week or two behind in case anything goes wrong. Their saving grace, however, was the vaccine rollout. That's fine, just wanted to clear that up and I agree neither of them have covered themselves in glory, that's for sure.

I had a mild fever after the 1st, but not even a slight headache today. Anyone else had an easy ride with the AZ 2nd shot? Or was it worse than Covid itself for you? Was quite ill after the 1st, absolutely fine after the 2nd

We're in a much better position now, but it's easy to forget how terrifying last year was for some folk. Elixir
Such a shame. Quote Posted at 16:59 Success story Australia now a 'stunning failure' over vaccine rollout Video content Video caption: Covid: 'Australia vaccine rollout is stunning failure'Covid: 'Australia vaccine rollout is stunning failure' Australia is currently seeing a spike in cases in multiple parts of the country - the first time this has happened in months. Throughout the pandemic, the country has managed to keep case numbers low with strict border closures and lockdowns. But Prof Tim Soutphommasane from Sydney University says Australia is lagging way behind other developed countries with the rollout of the coronavirus vaccine - and that it will be looked back on as a "stunning failure". "Australia has been winning the war but it is at serious risk of losing the peace because other countries around the world are rapidly opening up with very well vaccinated populations, leaving Australia behind," he says.

BlueBear
Shit game aside, watching the crowd at Wembley in a global pandemic and tomorrow it will be ah but, ye cannay...........! Aye right! Now we either have a problem or we don't and with the success of the vaccines, we don't, so ffs just let people have their weddings, funerals, family gatherings etc without restrictions, because watching that crowd inside Wembley is only making a mockery of government policicy and they just appear to be punishing those who have been punished enough. Money to be made in this tourney of of course. No fucking wonder people get upset at the hypocrisy of this whole shit show.

Elixir
The US really are starting to get on with it. Land of the free, indeed. Quote 17:11 United bets on travel boom with big plane order Copyright: Getty Images The US airline United has confirmed it has placed its biggest aircraft order to date for 270 Boeing and Airbus planes worth more than $30bn (£21.6bn). It's a move that shows the airline is confident people will return to air travel once the pandemic is over. The order means the airline will replace its older, smaller jets between 2022 and 2026. The bigger planes will carry more passengers on domestic routes and enable the airline to sell more premium seats in first class or with extra legroom. United Airlines' boss Scott Kirby says the purchases will "accelerate our business to meet a resurgence in air travel". Passengers who have been in the UK, Ireland, Brazil, China and Iran in the past 14 days still cannot enter the US unless a specific exemption applies, as a presidential decree introduced last March is still in place. BlueBear
The red tops really pushing the Oxford AZ vaccine, with the government scientist rhetoric of how wonderful it is, without mentioning the blood clot problem. They state 3 jabs of it are better than two and works better against all variants, but best of all, is that you can mix it with the Pfizer vax and get a better response than AZ alone, but eluding to state that 2 jabs of Pfizer are still better and with less risk. The AZ deal had been trashed and quite justifiably imo. People just don't have the confidence in it and no fucking wonder. However it was government sponsored and Oxford AZ have to turn a buck, so let's put every c**t at risk and takes yer chances. Government are c***s and give not one f**k for public health, so they can take their AZ and ram it. No doubt it has helped many, but just too many risks with it. Think if it were one of your own who succumbed to it ffs. Better it was binned for all concerned. -

Statically there isn’t a problem. if it wasn’t for sensationalist ‘news’ articles we’d have barely noticed. That and the rest of your post can comfortably chucked in the bin of conspiracy nonsense.
