My mum was pleading over the phone for a doctor to come up to see how ill he was, my dad was upset thinking his docs thought he was a time waster not worthy of seeing. The media just want to stand and ask politicians when restrictions will be brought back. That's it. Government held to account Tomorrow's headlines sorted And when restrictions are brought back, the approach changes to a weird combination of "when will these be tightened?" and "when can I hug my gran again?" The amount of government nonsense that's gone unchallenged whilst they have engaged in the above is unreal. I cannot stress this enough: they are largely fucking useless and seem to exist in this pandemic to make our lives miserable for some easy headlines. Some decent digging into dodgy covid contracts and wastage excepted, though unsurprisingly few folk really gave a f**k about this when we were all locked down and couldn't do anything.
