Deanburn Dave
A boy I follow on Twitter saying there that if they can come off your face in March, they can come off your face in February.Spot on. Nicola Sturgeon is posturing with her " care more" stance and is taking the Scottish people for mugs.

pozbaird
One month to go of mandatory facemask shite, simply because they have the devolved power to do it. Meanwhile, a 160 year old woman residing in a palace at the end of the Mall in London gets Covid, announces mild sniffly type symptoms, and carries on with ‘light duties’. Cnuts in Holyrood just couldn’t give their facemask posturing up until March 21st though. Oh well, tick fcuking tock at least. At last. -
Abdul_Latif
I’ve only had a quick scan of the framework, but I could not see it stated that the 1m distancing rule in certain settings has a date to be dropped. Was also raised to the FM today and she waffled an answer. Anyone able to clarify?

Big Fifer
Hope folk have at least filled in the consultation on emergency powers. If all the restrictions are getting binned why on earth do they need the emergency powers extended and potential made permanent?

Binning restrictions for now, but not the ability to reimpose them any fucking time they feel like it. Basically their whole framework from today hinges on it.
Ron Aldo
f**k sake, Alan. First reply is spot on. He's still going to follow the guidelines even though he's been doing that and caught Covid anyway [emoji23].

Rugster
There’s definitely a sneaky undercurrent here with her saying it was always guidance. Technically she may be correct but the way it was worded and put across I’m in no doubt the vast, vast majority of the population were unaware they could ignore this “guidance” if they wanted. She really has turned into an utter charlatan. Edited February 22, 2022 by Rugster
Deanburn Dave
bit of revisionism from Sturgeon which doesnt add up. There absolutely was provision on the covid laws for people to be taken to their home address or place of treatment by force if necessary if they had the virus, i know this because ive seen it in black and white.Public Health (Scotland) Act 2008 is what you want to look at. Gives "The Man" the process to force themselves into your home, ban you from places, take you to hospital and a whole load of other powers. That's the big stick they have if they need it.
