But why persist viewing or reading anything from people who you admit are causing you to lose your mind. That has to be counter productive.

How else do you suggest I get news about when I might be able to hug my fucking mum again?

This is fine advice for the school bawbag who gives you a bit of jip, or the odd troll on a football forum, but it's not really possible to ignore the people who are driving our pandemic strategy and are on the fucking TV every day saying something new. People seek out their opinion because their opinion could have a drastic affect on our their life for the rest of this year and potentially next. You say some folk are losing their minds - aye, they are, I am one of them. Maybe the likes of Leitch and Sridhar would do well to fucking acknowledge that every now and again and shut the f**k up about restrictions continuing well into next year.

But why persist viewing or reading anything from people who you admit are causing you to lose your mind. That has to be counter productive.

But their input is pretty much driving government policy. If Sturgeon won't stand up and say it, we are perfectly entitled to take her advisor's word for it.

This cannot be ignored. Even if you switch Sridhar and Leitch off the moment their face appears on tele, the words of what they're saying continue to directly affect your life - pretty much everything in the country that isn't essential retail is shut. No entertainment venues and no holidays either. And you can't visit your family.

There is nothing to be gained by ignoring them. Indeed it'll probably be worse as you'll know nothing.

Probably, sadly, partly driven by so many of them having already died before the turn of the year.

Of course that will play a part but the numbers behind that are falling and will fall, can't turn back the clock.

^^^ Whines about the thread being an 'echo chamber' with no attachment to reality

^^^ now advocates that people just stop reading what they don't want to see, even when it comes from senior government advisors

Imbecile found.

Just go hug her. You’re not going to be thrown in the cells for it.

I don't think you understand my point.

I'm delusional because I pretty much disregard what Devi and Jason say. OK then.

You're delusional because you think people can ignore the public advisors who are on TV on a daily basis "suggesting" what our strategy might be. You don't "pretty much disregard" everything they say, considering you're on here defending their almost every word.

You are tying yourself in knots here. It’s been explained as plainly as possible to you, and you’re just coming back with “ignore it”.
