You can, but for any proper socialising you're putting yourself and whoever you visit at risk of a fine which is no good. All it takes is a cunty neighbour. We should be able to do these things without fines even being a consideration.

I get that it's probably odds against this actually happening but I'd rather not put that on my pals. My own gaffe is a flat so pretty much out of bounds as the whole close would know if I had people over.

If you're wanting a full on party then it's worth taking the risk as the fine for first offenders is only £30 per person..

Got my jab at midday today - didn't feel a thing - feel okay so far - not even a sore arm (yet).

It's only been an hour!

I started feeling the effects four or five hours later.

Mad how we've had precisely zero cases of this, nearly 35 million vaccines in.

Well, none that we've been told about....

Our MHRA are actually decent.   Millions of doses given worldwide with very few reactions.

Every procedure has an element of risk whether it be having a laparoscopy to taking medication.

There is a much higher risk of clotting from taking the pill.  Maybe the Germans et al will ban that, nah I don't think so.

They've absolutely fucked it and any attempts to discredit the vaccine are to protect their own interests.

As I said millions given worldwide and very few issues.

Yes, the figures they're talking about don't even merit a mention, you know better than me obviously but I'm sure there is an element of risk and side effects with every drug on the market and the AZ vaccine certainly falls within the acceptable / expected parameters.

Clownshoes wrong yet again

He’ll be crying as we speak.

He was literally on the radio on Saturday saying there would almost certainly be crowds. I'm not sure I can ever remember him saying there wouldn't be crowds.

Then what's the difference between 'stay home' and 'stay local' other than swapping a word out?

Absolutely f**k all. We were all only supposed to leaving the house only for essential shopping and exercise until Friday, which is fucking laughable.

411 new cases (2.8% positivity)
250 people in hospital (-9)
23 ICU patients (+1)

Most important figure takes another jump in the right direction. While the decrease will slow down now, any decrease is very good news.

Very impressive falls over the last couple of months or so.

On 22nd January we had 2053 in hospital and 161 in ICU. I make that an 88% fall in hospital numbers and a 86% fall in ICU numbers in just over a 2 month period.

Pleasing.

I've found that whenever there's an announcement it's just giving you permission to do what you've already been doing for 2-3 weeks.

Until hospitality has reopened I don't really see the point in going anywhere.

Maybe i'm just being selfish but can't see much fun in just driving aimlessly when everything is still closed.

The delights of the Galashiels Tesco can't be beat. It has a moving walkway you know.

Bhutan intend to vaccinate their entire population in a week - https://kuenselonline.com/bhutan-to-vaccinate-533558-in-a-week/

Three days in and they have vaccinated 36% of the population.

That is bloody impressive, should be a really good source of data to give confidence of death and hospitalisations when you have such a high % vaccinated (it will be 0 btw)
