I find it bizarre that the SG applies one set of rules for Manchester and another for areas within Scotland when we are all trying to avoid going into another lockdown or reverse in restrictions and that the SG have already figured out that the vaccines work and high cases don't mean hospital's packed and patients in ICU fighting for their lives. If there is any consistency then there would be areas within Scotland thrown back down a few levels or all bans lifted traveling from Scotland to areas in England with high cases. The Manchester ban and same goes for other areas are certainly politically motivated rather than anything to do with a genuine health risk.East Lothian cases are far higher than Manchester as are Dundees. The Sunday Times is reporting that's he's being investigated over use of private email in connection with PPE procurement.
