You will need a Vax passport for the Hydro, as far as I know that's the only 4,000+ seater "theatre" in Scotland.

Unless I've missed it you will only need a passport for 10,000+ participants outdoors so regardless if you go to see a Celtic game or a concert at Hampden it will be the same.

Pubs and nightclubs have been treated differently from day 1, rightly or wrongly.

I’d imagine that places like 02 Academy will also fall under the vaccine passport remit as it’s a mix of standing and seating

how the f**k has north lanarkshire not reached herd immunity yet?

Officially only Glasgow @ 11.48%,   North Lanarkshire @ 11.37,  Renfrewshire @ 10.70% &  Dundee @ 10.04%   have had more than 10% of population test positive.

Scottish average is 7.99%

Don't understand it either, not surprising to see the Highlands taking off now with them being hardly hit by previous variants, but there doesn't seem to be any pattern re immunity.

Is it possible the vaccine passport won't get through the Scottish Parliament as Greens are opposed to it as well as all other opposition parties so would be 64 - 64?!

The Tories London masters are very likely to bring in the same thing soon, so they could vote for it or abstain.

The SNP themselves are opposed to it, however believe that they have no option as must be seen to be doing something.

In some respects it would be ideal if it didn't go through as then the SNP would have the "out" of blaming the opposition should things really go to fcuk.

Don’t think the Greens can oppose them.  Is Coronavirus measures not one of things they aren’t allowed to question as part of the deal with the SNP?  Cynics might say they weren’t proposed before now because the votes weren’t guaranteed.

Would be funny if the deal fell apart at the first hurdle though.

Health Secretary Humza Yousaf says the benefits of vaccine passports for entry to nightclubs and other large events outweigh the concerns and are preferable to another lockdown.

The falsest of false dichotomies.

People need to start lobbying their SNP MSPs in the hope of creating a backbench rebellion.
