Guest bernardblack
I’ve not a clue in this, but could this be a win-win situation...self employed people get the help they need and the govt gets everyone to be up to date on their tax returns?

The gray area is people keeping on working but claim it anyway.

We're lucky enough to have secure jobs and keep getting paid. I'd prefer the food and donations to go to those who are actually needing it.

Looks not bad, I've no idea what I'm due as there has been down time in there as well, no doubt it will count against me but what can the guy do, he can't sit down and do a bespoke deal for everybody. Anything that tops my bank account up will be greatly appreciated. Edited March 26, 2020 by ayrmad

I'm at home on full pay but my self employed wife has no income as her jobs have all ceased and she has too much in the bank to get UC. I suspect folk won't say Sunak is so great when he's back on the telly next year saying everyone has to work till they're 75 to pay for this. I hope he makes you all work until 80, it won't affect me.
