tree house tam
I'd play Holt in this one, we need to keep the ball and I think we do that better with him in there.

Swello
I see Watt is starting for the reserves today, so that would confirm a place on the bench at best on Wednesday I guess...
YassinMoutaouakil
In all seriousness this is a very difficult game, I'd probably take a point just to stop the rot and hopefully build up a bit of momentum from there.

McCann is the best all-round midfielder we have, I agree. Craig does a great job at breaking up the play and has excellent distribution from the middle of the field. I don't think that Holt is as good with the ball at his feet as either, but he does bring energy and is good at the strategic foul and winning the ball back when he does lose it. That's how I see them anyway.
Costanza
Think he is referring to the young troops keeping the ball behind the goal on Saturday Valentino.......

According to O'Carroll in the wee summary of the game he played the first 45.
Archie McSquackle
I'm confused- that looked like 3 goals for us in the highlights or was the ball that bounced down from the bar not over the line? Looked well over.

Templar
Tommy will go with 1 up front. He will flood the midfield and play not to lose. Every point counts Clark Duffy Kerr McCart Booth O'Halloran Holt McCann Craig Wotherspoon May He may even have a surprise at Right back?

Wallace Duffy isnt even making the bench, while O'Halloran is injured, so I'd say the chances of that team being right are slim to f**k all.

Seems to me that he's more inclined to play with wing-backs now that we have McCart in the team, 5 across the middle was when we only had 2 viable CB options and a fully fit midfield. For this game we're down a winger and a centre mid, so it will be wing-backs or 4-4-2 I expect. Given the sore goals we lost from set pieces last time we played them I have a feeling that he'll go with the former. If he does go with the Templar lineup it would be Ralston for Duffy and Wright for MOH. Very much expect Kane, Butcher and Izzy-J to be subbed on in this game. Butcher in particular may well be a player, seems well thought of, would like to see what he's about. Thought Izzy looked up for it when he got his few minutes in Ayr and could have had a penalty, so again more of him would be good as he might offer something a bit different and give us pace with MOH out the picture. Bose
I think we definitely need two up front. Not just for the obvious goalscoring threat but it helps us defend from the front much better.

If Ralston is fit, not suspended and were not playing Celtic then he plays. Might not be a world beater but he is in comparison with Duffy. Wright will also start, probably Kane as well.
Mr Positive, sometimes.
FYI Motherwell fans. I'd you're coming along tomorrow if weather is anything like tonight then it's going to be ABSOLUTELY FUCKING BALTIC.

I'd you're coming along tomorrow if weather is anything like tonight then it's going to be ABSOLUTELY FUCKING BALTIC. Forecast to indeed be Baltic but at least dry and a lot calmer. After the last couple of days, I'll definitely take that.Bose makes a good point that playing two up seems to mean we've defended a lot better from the front. I'd goClark Ralston Kerr McCart Booth Wright McCann Craig Wotherspoon Kane MayIf Gordon is 100% suspect we might resort to wing backs again with Wright dropping out. It's nice having some positive problems when it comes to selection compared to earlier in the season.
