Dee Man
Surely nobody would even have to look at the voting list to know that Hearts and Rangers would've rejected it?

If there was a group chat then he would either be in it himself or be in direct communication with whoever our rep was. Wonder what was discussed in that conversation with McCall

The Premiership as it was called at the time in England had to cut from 22 teams to 20 as with UEFA dates and international dates there was not enough space for all the games 16 teams with no split would be great , cut out midweek games and use those dates for postponed games. Our game in hand was caused by Rangers reaching the league cup semi final in November and without the virus this weekend would have been the first available date to play it. Finances and TV deals with 4 old firm games mean this will never happen. The 44 games in one season was to help clubs out financially on the home games lost this season. This whole shitshow in the last week has been about finance and this gives the chance to recoup any lost money from home games.

If there are UEFA and international dates plus the Euros in June 2021 and a later start, im not sure there is space. (There may be no European or international football next winter and we might start in August) Fans money will also be tighter than in the past. Clubs would need to get the price right with what ever set up they come up with.

Maslow
Top 16, Championship 16 and league one 16. No relegation, promote all in play-off positions including Highland/Lowland league. Relegate 4 and promote 2 the following two seasons. Next season cant over-run because of the Euros, The following year a world cup to accommodate. We don't know when next season will start. One of the projections from this week was October. So we either reconstruct now or end up gubbing 3 seasons for not doing it. Well said. Exceptional times call for exceptional measures.

Maslow
Interesting that your chairman and a large proportion of your fans seem to be wholly comfortable that we have earned the right to be crowned champions, as well as claim the prize money that accompanies that honour, but think we shouldn’t be promoted. At least have the self respect to admit your only motivation here is benefitting from the tangerine pound [emoji28].Btw if we aren’t doing null and void, which isn’t on the table, then how should the prize money be split? On the basis of current league position? If so, Dundee are only 15 points off bottom, how can we be sure they wouldn’t have at least finished in the relegation playoffs? You’re kinda following a circular argument here. If on the basis of current league position we don’t qualify for that payment then how is it right United get promoted?
