I think you’ll find we are the current holders of the Scottish Cup, because we had the best record when the competition was halted. Plus does it matter if they tweet stupid stuff for a joke or tweet stupid stuff for real, it's till a pretty shitty thing to post. Anyway my last word on it, I take your point though.

DeeTillEhDeh
It is the Companies Act. But civil, I would have thought - the police and the legal system can’t cope with serious wrongdoings, nevermind what is essentially a small-time matter affecting one medium sized company, one small one and one tiny one. Needs somebody who is bloody minded to pursue it though. Think Annie is too reasonable. You are talking bollocks.

craigkillie
Im just trying to make sure that all those teams who would be in the play offs get supported. What other reason could there be.[emoji38] To be fair in the Championship with the previous two weeks before lockdown Ayr Utd, Dundee and Inverness were all in that 2nd spot, so it wouldnt be right to promote ICT.How do you know the current top 4 would finish in the play-offs if the season was completed? If it's somehow unfair to award titles and relegations that way, why is this different?
cyderspaceman
I went to the SPFL website, via google, to visit the horse's mouth, so to speak. I clicked on 'Latest News' and got this, Quote DUNDEE V DUNDEE UNITED - 8TH APRIL 2015 Tune into the SPFL YouTube channel on Saturday at midday for a classic meeting at Dens Park! WTF? I tried refreshing etc. Horse's arse, more like. eta Has it been hacked? Edited April 14, 2020 by cyderspaceman
craigkillie
They've been showing reruns of classic matches every week since the lockdown started.

Are you saying your quote about documents being submitted in the post is from there? I've already said Dundee clearly voted before the 'deadline'. Them asking for it to be ignored acknowledges that too. I'm asking what legally is to stop them asking to change their mind. It's not my specialist subject but I'd be pretty surprised if the Companies Act offers any comment on how diddy football leagues should organise a vote. I'd love to see Budge go to court to argue that the votes at 5pm should have been treated as final when she herself, an IT millionaire, apparently couldn't get a voting slip scanned and sent in by then either.

Win more games = not in this situation and Ann Budge votes yes no questions asked. We deserve to be bottom of the league. We do not deserve to be expelled from the league with 24 points to play for. What part of that is hard for you to understand?

I've said it already, I'm not entirely unsympathetic, but seeing as your board is against reconstruction there is no other option other than have no relegation/promotion but the way I see it United deserve to come up far more than you deserve to stay up.

You’d be relegated on a points per game basis on the back of the current proposal. If you weren’t the worst team in the league you wouldn’t go down. It’s really quite simple. But in the highly likely event that those 24 points are going to have to remain unplayed, due to the global pandemic that's making all social gatherings impossible, then we either void the season, or end the season. In the former case, fans and teams don't deserve to have their efforts in a whole 2/3 of the season nullified. In the latter, well insofar as anyone deserves relegation, it's Partick and Hearts, due to their performance in the games that were played. No matter what happens, someone's getting fucked over in ways they don't deserve. With the 'end the season' vote, it just happens to be Hearts, but Hearts are the least undeserving team of the twelve. So it goes. Also it's not 'expelled' it's relegated. There's a huge difference.
