(if anyone disagrees I can argue till the end of time where Linthouse, Drumoyne and all begin and end, family have lived in area since coming over in a boat late 19th century). Had forgotten about the 50. If I recall they were in the main red ash. Honestly can't remember about grass pitches but feel there was at least one for finals etc

Much better food and drink selection down here at Meadow Park and we have a stand, covered and uncovered terracing, a viewing balcony, and; you can watch the opening few minutes from inside the social club also, allowing one to finish one's Guinness.

Sounds a great place to watch your team lose a last minute equaliser every second week

As you will be aware I don't have a specific team. I just love my non league football. And they may prove you wrong tomorrow and actually concede a last minute equaliser every week.

Shieldhall as far as i remember was the part that was on the border of Renfrew. But exact location, was the 50 pitches just up from the 'Sou Gen' before the big hospital ward was built at the back Edited August 2 by Bestsinceslicebread -

Funniest bit about that was we had a Bankies fan in a very senior position in the council for years and he did nothing to help us…

Junior supporter
7 hours ago, Shanner said: It's just reality. They won't coast along on the feel good factor indefinitely, and most teams only bother their arses with facilities that will benefit the home support. KRR don't have a big enough fan base to justify them developing much beyond what they already have. I'm more than happy to be proven wrong because I'm sure I'll need to visit it at some point when the rain is pishing down. Over 1200 in 2 games is a good start . All they need is a couple of standing terraces for rain cover ,for a couple hundred and a social area and they are onto a winner
