What do the rules state? I'm sure someone on here will know? There is no rule. It is up to each individual club to determine if they charge or not as long as they advise the opposition, so that their parents/supporters are aware to avoid any issues when they attend the game. It is a development league and if clubs ask for a donation or a £2 entry fee, it should not cause a problem. I do know that last season very few teams charged for people to watch development games

Whittlets vic
Will it still be the Dam Park if the 1st team are playing their the next day ? I can't see it being dampark especially if we have a match the next day. Would be better for the 20s to play at ayr academy on the astro

BMCGILL86
Shettleston 20’s will play at Greenfield Football Complex which is adjacent to Greenfield Park, there will be a barrier in place and we have initially been told this will be acceptable

Bestsinceslicebread
To be honest when I first listed the teams I was thinking if they get to maybe 5 or 6 teams from the West with the current 5 west teams then maybe they could make up a regional West and then an East regionalised and that would be great but in all honestly to get 24 teams officially state they are applying to join the Lowland U20 League with their U20 team is absolutely fantastic and think the Lowland league will just grow form strength to strength LATEST UPDATE 8/0620 Have confirmed Officially that they have or are applying or operated an Under 20s team in season 19/20. Dev
One of the reasons for listing clubs interested in joining the Under 20's league was to let clubs know who was interested from the start. If enough clubs come forward early on then it sends out the message that this is viable for others too. It can build a momentum of its' own, a bit like what happened in the EoS and the WoS. If the Under 20's have 60 plus teams then it will be one of the largest leagues in Scotland, alongside the WoS and EoS. Who'd have thought that a few years ago! One interesting thing I've noticed is that each of the Tier 7 Conferences of the WoS has five clubs also entering the Under 20's league so 15 out of 23 WoS teams known to be entered. An encouraging sign. Edited June 8, 2020 by Dev .

Andy groundhopper
Really starting to look good now, with so many WOS clubs having U20 teams, hopefully very few talented youngsters will be lost to the game - creating a pathway through to the 1st team and beyond. As I said yesterday, why don't the spfl clubs say use our training grounds etc if pitches are hard to find ? Go on be generous !
