A new keeper too as 20 year old Glen Cameron signs after a spell with Ashfield.

Was on loan 1st half of last season at Kilbirnie and didn't impress at all I'm afraid, a big lad but very hesitant at corners and cross balls, be surprised if 1st choice for a team like Talbot.

He was OK considering the defence was fucking woeful. He is just young and his confidence will grow with better players in front of him. Put it this way, he wasn't the worst keeper you saw last season.

Was talking to a "Blastie" fan and he was impressed by the lad.

Aye, the lad was OK then performances just started to tail off for some reason.

I do wonder, though, if the chap who commented above is confusing young Glen with the other goalie who started the season as he was, indeed, truly awful.

Didn't help that he sometimes had some auld duffer called Lyle getting in the way in front of him....

Big Andy's confidence grew having the best defensive record more seasons than most teams.

A big young goalie grew into the Talbot team and owned the position and deservedly so.
