Definitely a red card, so referee was correct. No way was it a penalty when the lad went to cross, so Bot got their just deserts when the Bridge of Don player missed the penalty. Is it me or did that park look really bad and bumpy? Edited November 9, 2023 by Bestsinceslicebread

It be the fans dancing with a UJ, not like them... Hopefully, it comes to light. Shocking and embarrassing the club. You've heard an overly exaggerated account of what happened and it wasnt the young ones, they were great from start to finish. It was one incident by an older fella and most talbot fans cheered when he was quite rightfully escorted out. I cant imagine we'll be seeing him back at any home games in future.
fieldsofdreams
First time missing a derby match in a number of years, I just can't get my head round Cumnock's action with the tickets carry on. An absolute farce, I won't be handing them any of my money. I hope Talbot don't take the same approach for our supporters at the return game.

Heard the lad got banned from the bus. Everyone involved dealt with it correctly it seems.

andy25
Ive been a big critic of Aiden Wilson but credit where its due he was outstanding today. Shows what happens when players are played in their natural position
Shanner
That was excellent today considering the injury list. Massive game coming up midweek. Worst Cumnock performance against us at Townhead in a while. Absolute dross.

Talbot supporter
Good performance today Talbot, Wilson superb at CB and Boylan brilliant upfront didn't give them a minute. Talbot dominated the majority the pressing in the first half especially & when we didn't have the ball was first class, on to Wednesday
beaver watch
Talbot fans should complain about the Townhead fire alarm, that's two games in a row there has been a Cumnock mass exodus for the gates 20 minutes before the game ends. Does it only ring in their end or are we deaf?
Shibuya
Great result yesterday for you guys. What's the atmosphere like at these games nowadays, is it still as fierce as it used to be?

Honestly no it's not as fierce as it used to be , still a decent rivalry though and still pulls a good crowd especially from us , great away support again
Talbot supporter
We could really jump up the league with another couple of wins, not getting ahead of ourselves though thinking positive

Looking at the photos it was a strong Talbot support and I think they would comfortably out number Cumnock who were at home. Crowds although not at the same level they were previously they are still very strong and I would assume far higher than the unsupported Lowland League and most of the championship down. It is a big pay day for most clubs when they host Talbot. Think the combined school also pays a part in the reduced bitterness etc...
