Trying to find it but I remember seeing a program on this place.  It was home to some random hot springs or something in South America, but in the 1980s it flooded if i remember correctly and the water took about 15yrs to receed again. Quite a cool place.

Aye thats the place.  always remember it for the photo below.  I think it was on abandoned engineering or something that they covered the place along with Chernobyl and places like that

Searching images (vintage/old single engine/propeller passenger) stuff like that then found ones by Bellanca I thought looked alike. 

I searched for Bellanca aircraft for a while, had enough.

Tight M1nge mentioned there were lots of minor companies.

Expanded my search on Wiki for 1930's utility planes and got lucky, they don't all have pictures. 

Huge amount of aircrafts. A lot of them really nice. I never knew there was so much.

WTF happened there!
