Be nice to eventually get to a 16 team division and clubs get used to the regular ups and downs (hopefully) It will be a few years before an ex Junior team is relegated out the Lowland League.

One already has been, for what it's worth. Preston Athletic were in the east region up to the mid-1990s.
FairWeatherFan
Just a quick look at Twitter to see who has said they're in for this season and who has withdrawn. Seen it said elsewhere Auchinleck Talbot and Pollok will be having meetings to decide. In so far: Beith Juniors Blantyre Victoria Clydebank Darvel Irvine Meadow Kilwinning Rangers Largs Thistle Withdrawn for 2020-21: Cumnock Juniors Kilbirnie Ladeside

I was curious to see what they numbers were looking like since it goes to the viability of having a Premier Division season and what format it could take.

aldaniti
So what happens when they withdraw, will they just not play at all this season?

At the moment nobody knows. Most of them are sitting out due to no fans and some of the current restrictions placed on changing rooms & travel. You'd have to think of it like a year in abeyance, but Premier Division clubs won't be relegated. If things open up during the season its possible they could try and organise a competition amongst themselves.

That basically meant Tier 6 club withdraw. They'd be a Tier 6 club in 2021-22. Tier 7 club withdraw then they'd be a Tier 7 club in 2021-22. To make this workable it meant no promotion or relegation between the WoS Premier and Conferences in 2020-21. This now seems to be getting challenged by some of the Conference clubs as they would like an opportunity at promotion.

WilliamBragg
What happens with players at clubs who withdraw? Are they free to move on or do the clubs have to honour their contracts?
Tutankhamen
Conference teams shafted twice without playing a competitive game.
Ceejayar
Unfortunately the talbot and Pollok I would think will stay in the league if there is promotion as they will not want teams a free run at the lowland league., if there was no promotion I think there outcome would be different. I hope I’m wrong and if they say no it’s no , no matter what.
