What on earth has happened to Broxburn these last weeks?

Not been able to field a settled back line due to injuries, work commitments and illness.  Last couple of seasons they could pick 4 from 5 regular starters.  This year lucky if they could pick 2 each week. This is the affecting confidence when they lose a goal.

Linlithgow have got themselves back into contention thanks to games against the lower half teams, ahead of a big month of games - Broxburn double header, HOB, Penicuik, Tranent. If they are to challenge then they'll need to beat a top half team for the first time in a year. They should progress in the Scottish Cup as well next week.

Crossgates with Inverkeithing next up have a chance to put 3 points between them and the bottom four, and go 10 ahead of the bottom three.

With relegation happening from the Lowland League is there scope for 13th to be dragged into a relegation spot? There's a couple of ways it could happen, but also plenty of permutations as to why it's not a concern.

Not sure about 6 but is it looking like 5 down FWF ?

Basic thinking: WoS/SoS Champion wins the LL playoff. Two down from the LL to the EoS.

Current 18 + 2 LL + 2 EoS First Division Conference champions = 22. Which needs 6 down to get to 16.

There's plenty of different variations that mean it will be unlikely to be a factor. Just wondering if the EoS would go that high in relegation spots or do something differently.

These permutations would have been set out at the start of the season otherwise surely not another shambolic end to a season for some?

Will the season even finish,Nothern league down here has been suspended until another meeting in January and they're always busy during the festive season?

Has something happened at Whitehill Welfare to put them in to such a horrendous freefall? It was only a few years ago they were a really solid mid-table LL side. I get that team dropping out the LL might be more likely to freefall given it's probably easier to avoid relegation in the LL than the EoS Premier but losing every game so far, they look like they're sinking without a trace.

Has increased competition for players in the Edinburgh & Lothians area dragged them down the pecking order.

Let’s just say it’s a long story.
