Texas. Travis County.
I voted for candidates from multiple parties because each individual race presents different issues and candidates across the spectrum.
I hate our 2-party system and both the far right and far left.

Had to google it but presumably Austin is heavily Democrat? Did you have any Propositions to vote on, or is that just a Californian thing?

Doesn't matter, even without that they still expected Dems to win the county on the day.

It's the mail votes and in person today they've to do there - still 16% of votes to count.

The folk who know all say it's behind expectations if Biden is going to win the state, knowing what those votes are.

Sky news have managed to find a few younger (white) trump voters who cite the economy as the reason for supporting him.

What exactly did Trump do apart from see continuations of trends that had been in place since sound 2011/12?

Yes, Austin runs about 80 percent Democrat.

We had 2 city propositions.

Look a bit dull but no doubt important where you live. Did you approve?

Quote

Proposition A: Approving the City’s property tax rate and dedicating 8.75 cents of the operations and maintenance portion of the tax rate for Project Connect, a high-capacity transit system

Quote

Proposition B: $460M in voter-approved general obligation bonds for transportation infrastructure including sidewalks, transportation-related bikeways, urban trails, transportation safety projects (Vision Zero), safe routes to school and substandard streets.
