Gonna upset you Boo, but my worst NFL memory is the Chargers beating the Patriots and forcing a fumble in the playoffs with very little time left.

Chargers player recovering the fumble chose to run the ball back instead of going down and fumbled back to the Patriots, who won. Think they won the Super Bowl too.

Talking around LT time. LT is the best running back in the 20 years I've watched NFL.

Marlon McCree.

Brady had an utter stinker, played like shit the entire game. Chargers had umpteen chances to put the game away, but kept extending NE drives with stupid penalties, missing kicks etc. Brady had one final do-or-die drive, got to fourth down, he threw a pass that was going absolutely nowhere. If McCree just bats the ball down the Chargers kneel the game out and go on to crush the Giants in the Superbowl. Instead, he has a rush of shit to the brain, picks it off, tries to fucking return it for some reason, gets hit, coughs the ball up, Pats recover and score a TD on the resulting drive leaving the Chargers -3 down with about 45 seconds remaining. Rivers drives SD into hail-mary FG range at the death and Nate Kaeding misses a kick that he never had the leg for anyway.

Cue loads of typically classless Pats trash-talking and dancing on the Chargers logo in the middle of the field. Rivers losing his shit and threatening to batter Pats DB's

Makes me feel better that they lost the Super Bowl, didn't remember that bit.

The Eli Manning sack avoidance helmet catch was unbelievable. Both Giants wins over the Pat's were great. Not sure if Antiochas would agree though.

The Chargers have never really been right as a franchise since that game. It was Marty's final game as HC, led directly to the Norv Turner era, and through three entire coaching regimes since it's been a consistent pattern of chucking leads away, losing in statistically impossible ways, and turning should-be blow-out wins into one-score losses.

People always hate on Marty for never being able to win in the playoffs, but the fact is, his teams used to develop talent like there was no tomorrow, they utterly crushed bad teams, like hung 40 and 50 points on them week-in week-out, they won most of the 'pick-em's', and any time they were underdogs they'd play the favourite to within an inch of their lives.

He would have won 12-14 games easily every season with the talent the Chargers had between 2005-2010. It was a matter of time before he won a Superbowl, but no. Idiot got himself into  a dick-swinging contest with the GM and effectively got himself fired.

Eh, maybe. Marty may have been a good regular season coach, but he was shit in the playoffs. His playoff failures haunted Chiefs fans for 20+ years. The decision to stick with Elvis Grbac instead of going to Rich Gannon was one of the dumbest decisions of the 90s.

Really wasn't surprised when he had the regular season success in  San Diego then was just good enough to lose in the postseason. It was almost a carbon copy of what he did in KC.

Alex Smith must be a shoe in for comeback player of the year, never thought we would see him suited up again never mind starting and winning games.

That fake punt by Dallas was hilarious and mind-blowingly bad play calling at the same time.

And this was one of the plays of the game for me by McLaurin.
