St Mirren v The Rangers 16/12

I mentioned a few weeks ago I could see Bassey conceding penalties due to his tendency to day dream at times, let’s hope it’s not costly.

Relatively pleased with our overall play. We seemed well in control but then a combination of St Mirren using the ball better and us losing focus made it more of an even contest in the last 15 of the half.

We can’t continue to let their centre halves saunter through the middle of the park.

While I don't think we are the only side that has suffered from their wandering defenders, you are absolutely right.

Fair summary, I think.

Stewart’s right in saying that St Mirren have just barriered off that right hand side. Double marking Tavernier.

Straight from the Bill Belichick school of coaching defence - take away your opponents main strength and make them beat you another way.

Aye, we had to drag someone out the Celtic shop to ref when Dallas was poisoned injured before kick off.

I don't get this Dallas is pro Rangers nonsense, it was Dallas who ignored this 'tackle' and waved play on.

Don't confuse Dallas being bad at this job with Dallas not having a leaning.
