Dundee Hibernian
Aberdeen fans must be frustrated, to dominate the first half but not to secure a lead. Much more even in the second period, but it's worrying the lack of ability we display in midfield.
Dons_1988
Second half was grim but first half was encouraging. United looked better than at tannadice. frustrating but oh well.
resk
We had the ball, United had the chances - a draw is fair. We really need a striker who can play football or, if we are keeping Cosgrove, just play him.

The inhouse commentary mentioned several times that we should be pushing the Old Firm. The chairman has mentioned several times that we should be pushing the Old Firm. The majority of us are not daft. We can see the players the manager has at his disposal. Being a bit better than everyone else is as good as it is going to get for the time being.
DrewDon
Yeah, we need a striker this month. Main is far too limited to be a regular starter; Cosgrove's ability to hold the ball in and link play clearly isn't at a level that satisfies McInnes. Frankly, being kept out of the team by Main isn't a great look for a guy folk think we are going to punt for a few million pounds. As has been said, our off the ball movement, or lack of, is a real issue when faced with situations like that second half. Could do with more creativity from the centre, too - Ferguson and especially McCrorie, for all their many strengths, maybe lack a bit of guile.
FifeArab
We defended really well today and thankfully limited their chances. Aberdeen had more of the game but we could've nicked It at the end.

Behave! Powers is proper 'break only in an emergency' fodder. He might be ok on the ball, but he has the pace and turning circle of an oil tanker.
Sarto Mutiny
Happy with a point, and sounds like we played not too badly in the second half. Onwards and upwards
Alert Mongoose
Thank f**k Aberdeen had Main up front. He’s shite. Thought we could have nicked it but a draw is fair. One in the eye for the Connolly boo boys. Stuart will be looking down on us thinking we had done ok.

Their job is to get the ball wide or in to the players behind the striker in this system. I agree both could do more. 1 minute ago, ArabianKnight said: From what I seen you never had as clear cut chances as United did. Aberdeen had more of the ball but didn't look like scoring at all. Main and Hoban's chances were as good as anything United created. Your two best efforts came from outside the box. Connolly should have done better with the free kick that landed on his knee.

Either too inconsistent, old, injury prone or have reached their peak and won't play for a better team.
GraniteGype
Another poor result. United more than earned that point and could have sneaked it. Relying on Curtis Main when you're hoping to split the Old Firm is always going to be an issue. January is a massive month recruitment wise. I don't trust the club to get it right, unfortunately.Agree with this. More really frustrating dropped points when we had an opportunity to get tight with Celtic. Main might be able to rumble his way through the defences of Ross County or Stenhousemuir to tae bash in the odd goal, but up against anyone remotely decent he regularly offers absolutely nothing.

Guest Bob Mahelp
It was a carbon copy of the game at Tannadeechy. Aberdeen the best team for 60 mins or so then it ends up with United could have won it. Without Watkins, our lack of creativity up front is startling. We only have one priority in the transfer window and that is to sign a centre forward that can link up play and offer some intelligence.

In fairness there are some in our support who go apoplectic if there’s any hint the club are settling for 3rd. thankfully we don’t hear much of it from mcinnes.
