SANTAN
I know the topic at hand isn't actually a serious post but the idea we shouldn't celebrate winning the league or be happy when our team wins a game of football has always been a strange angle to go for.

The_Kincardine
I admit to being more than peeved when we were pumped 3-2 by St Mirren in the league cup as, at my age, a semi is not to be sniffed at. However, the diddy tears and snotters on here does go some way to make up for it. When 55 is complete I expect many more of these threads. Delicious.

Why do they get so wet between the legs when they win a game against us, or anybody that isn't Celtic? The embarrassing thing is, if they played down South, they would be mid table in the National League. Calm down you Buckie addled Sharon's. You are three times the size of the rest of us. Ohhhh yes, this is what it’s all about when Rangers win. The haters can’t take it and start hitting out with petulant pish like “why they celebrating winning?” and other such like. It’s not just winning the league title, when Rangers have scored last minute winners over the past few years this forum has exploded about the manner in which their support celebrated the goals by some of them spilling onto the park. They have every right to celebrate winning the league, as do any team winning anything. Celtic have been lording it over everyone else for the last decade and we’ve seen laps of honour after winning Old Firm games, Leigh Griffiths tying scarves to goalposts , Kieran Tierney running about Hampden with the Green Brigades megaphone and their entire team makes a point of dancing about in front of their support at the end of every single game they win - against sides with a fraction of their budget. That didn’t seem to bother too many people though, as long as they were winning that meant that Sevco weren’t eh? 30 minutes ago, DUFC - South of the Border said: Ryan Bowman was a bang average National League player at Torquay United, then he went to Motherwell and he was one of the best players they ever had. I think the money even in lower league England is better than most Premier clubs in Scotland. Not true. Categorically not true. As a Motherwell fan I can confirm that Ryan Bowman was pish for us, bar a brief spell between August and December 2017 when he partnered Louis Moult. And even then his most significant contribution was breaking a Rangers players nose (completely unintentionally of course) but apart from that his main contribution was being a bit of a foil for Moult. When Moult left Bowman became largely anonymous, bar the odd occasion.

Dundee Hibernian
Gerrard's side has beaten everyone else in the league, sometimes by large margins, and have a very impressive defensive record. This is the only domestic league they are in, and they are going to be deserved winners. For most of us it's of no great interest who wins the league, as each season only two teams are in with a chance. Nonetheless, it would be churlish not to recognise the manner in which they have gone about their business.
