Brashy's Boots
Clearly not the big deal the ICT lynch mob would have had everyone believe. Drama queens the lot of them.

On the one hand a two game ban seems pretty fucking lenient for an incident involving racism, on the other the e-learning video bit suggests he is getting sent on a course to mind his mouth...

Raith Against The Machine
Yeah, that's... odd. I'd sort of prepared for either an acquittal or an absolute hammering. Instead it feels like "You've said something you definitely shouldn't have said... but it's not that bad" which feels strange. I'm really not sure what to make of it. A two game ban doesn't seem to square with the "racist abuse" allegation. Surely for racist abuse you're talking about five games as an absolute minimum. It'll be interesting to see how this punishment stacks up next to the Tiffoney incident at Stenhousemuir, or the boy at Brechin who was sent off for using homophobic language.

It's very hard to gauge at the moment but it doesn't really seem to make sense. If he's been racist, then he should have the book thrown at him. You'd have thought the earlier red cards wouldn't have been factored in given they looked to be related to the initial foul at the sending off and then having a Caley player by the throat in the aftermath. Fwiw, here is the statement released on Todorov's behalf by Aamer Anwar. Edited May 27, 2021 by Broken Algorithms

This is why they ultimately have to publish the judgement so we can see why that conclusion that was reached, not least so we can see why Toderov was charged one month after the incident. What you don't want is a player ostensibly given a two game ban for racism whilst homophobic abuse or abuse on mental health grounds gets a longer ban. That sets a very bad impression on the face of it and the nuances of each case will be overlooked.
