Celtic and Hearts B Teams in Lowland League?

So if they [SFA, Celtic & Ranger) get there way can anyone not see the situation where the B teams games in the championship aren’t played on a Sunday afternoon so the players are available for the first team choices and if not used played against the minions on a Sunday.
This will be sold as higher B Team fans (really) and bigger sponsors money (possibly a cut of the prem money), I hate the power those 2 have, the rest of us are treated as insignificant unless they are selling us Scotland tickets!

You seem to think that the whole picture can just be readily laid out in detail and that every aspect will just be put in writing as plain as day instead of much being said, implied, suggested in meetings.  If you are in a poker game neither side is going to show all their cards face up as they are dealt.  So you do not believe that the relevant people did not say/imply that they would look to implement a conference in 23/24 unless B teams had a satisfactory league situation in 23/24?  That is your prerogative.

The details of the leagues and SFA organisations, voting structures and links between them is public knowledge.

You have more than enough information to know to be able to stand up to whatever lies maxwell etc want to sell,. You might be too much of a shitebag to do that but that doesn’t mean that going along with the things is any better.

I will leave it as folks don’t really want useful information - just want to air their own conclusions.  The Scottish football authorities of course have now grasped that so you are seeing no formal proposals

There are no formal proposals as the conference plan needs to get to through series of votes to get going, the most difficultly being the spfl who forever have told the b teams to fucking bolt every time it comes up, some clubs do actually have a backbone.     HL also behave with decency on this issue and unlikely to touch the conference,   It is only 1 league and 10 snakes that are fucking this up.

You do realise the SPFL are keen on the conference as a safety net for L2 clubs.  Do you know HL stance?  Integrity I suspect is in the eye of the beholder judging by your rant - nuff said this time

When you say "the SPFL", what you actually mean are a handful of board representatives. This has not gone to a vote, and if it did then it would remain the hard sell which it has been for the last decade or so.

You've repeated this "the SPFL are keen on the conference" line about half a dozen times now. The SPFL board may well be keen, but the SPFL is not the board, is the member clubs. B teams have been brought to the SPFL many times and always rejected. As for "safety net" - it's no more a safety net than a well run and organised tier 5. It's nothing speak.

To correct you - B teams being promoted into the SPFL is not proposed

Not really a correction. The Conference League proposal enshrines B teams in the pyramid and is entirely dependent on their financial contribution to get off the ground. Otherwise we'd be talking about SPFL3. Another proposal that SPFL board has tried and failed to get off the drawing board.

HL told inverness to f**k off when they tried a B team.

Your SPFL statement that you cling onto doesn't seem to have any real basis,  as said it might have some, or even full board support,  but if you want to explain in detail how the conference gets through the SPFL voting structure and the clubs that will vote for it go ahead.

The SPFL clubs don’t need to vote for the conference that is one of the main points of the scheme.  The Highland League isn’t being asked to accept any B teams - their stance whatever it may be on the conference has nothing to do with that - the HL involvement is in regards to new arrangement and how many HL clubs would go into it

Despite a key point of option 3 being the football authorities aim to come up with something that would not require such a vote as opposed to Options 1 & 2 which SPFL killed right away

An easier way would be to say that a player can't play for the 1st team if in the B team and vice versa (unless under the same loan arrangements that apply to all other teams).

The aim too, doesn’t mean they can succeed, the will only get through if shitebags like you keep playing along.

You can comment on shortcomings in debate, after you answer the very straightforward questions about how voting in favour of B teams 'buys time'. What will have changed between now and April 2024 to prevent the same choice being presented again? Be extremely specific.

Absolutely nobody is being fooled by your increasingly hysterical gurning about the tone of the thread.
