Yet previous sides that we had containing the likes of McAvennie McDougall Scanlon Somner Munro and such like were denied in quite a few semi-finals. The replays at Hampden v Rangers and the one at Dens v Aberdeen immediately spring to mind. Those were better teams with better players if I’m honest.

Let me clear it up for you, when Ferguson shot, Kevin Gallagher was on the line standing next to Money .There were no other defenders behind him. Offside then, offside now.

Callum Davidson had been earmarked for St Johnstone manager when he was 21 years of age, Geoff very publicly said this. Which brings me onto your question. Why would we stand in the way of an ambitious young mans career path? We wouldn't. That's the difference between our clubs, from top to bottom, we know what we are, no false egos, no bleating about where we should be, no bleating about glory from decades ago, no thinking we are a big club. We go out and do it, we win things, we get in the top 5 of our country, we play European football. Maybe your club should try it now and again, it's fun. RandomGuy.
No crowds at any game for over 12 months, and crowd wanking still remains something folk boast about. Scottish football is incredible.

It was contentious then, doesn't really matter now.

You don't need to sell me your success our chairman said a good few year ago he would like to emulate the way St Johnstone is run. Saints are an extremely well run club now. The fact we are in partnership with Kibble means we are a training centre for underprivileged kids. It's saving the club a fortune from catering through to every type of maintenance. This along with fan ownership fills me with pride .

Lex
Can’t say I’m too excited about this three way tussle for seventh we’ve found ourselves in. Aware there’s extra prize money the higher we finish but with the two cup runs our budget will be fine for next year regardless. Club already shown intent with the signings of Brophy and Fraser. So yeah, I’ll be flicking between the three games today with minimal attention on ours. Team wise will be interesting to see if Finlayson retains his spot. Also looks like this will be Obika, Durmus, Connolly and Quaner’s last game for the club. Would have been nice to give them the send off at the lap of honour, but no need for that kind of sentiment today. Wouldn’t surprise me if we see a few of them back at St Mirren park next year, in an opposition shirt, we can say bye then. In regards to the game the winner will likely be the team that is the most up for it. We certainly showed plenty of good attitude on Wednesday night. After we went 2-0 down to Killie midweek it would have been easy and almost understandable if the team had eased up and went through the motions. None of that happened, we rattled in three good goals in twenty minutes and came away with a deserved draw. Play with intensity like that again and I think we will in win. 2-1
