accies1874
Everyone saying the same team again, but thats surely unlikely. The squad will be assessed and some players will be rested. Something bad will happen between now and kick-off, anyway.
AJF
Same team other than Nisbet in for Dykes.
Stellaboz
Same team other than Nisbet in for Dykes.Yup. Get a goal scoring striker in for a game we need to score.
craigkillie
Picking an unchanged team just because they played well in a totally different type of game is one of the most frequent mistakes that managers make. We have to pick a team that can beat Croatia.Having said that, I think the back five plus Gilmour and McGinn are unlikely to drop out, so that just leaves the possibility of McGregor being replaced by someone like Armstrong (unlikely) or one of Dykes/Adams making way for a different attacking option. Fraser seems the most likely for me, but Christie or Forrest are also possibilities. I'd be surprised to see Nisbet playing - if he sticks with two strikers I don't see why he'd drop Dykes or Adams. They might have squandered a couple of chances, but they are still more than capable of getting us a goal or two.

We have to pick a team that can beat Croatia.I personally agree with the general statement about managers being stubborn and picking the same team after a win, but I think the game tomorrow is not a different type of game than England at all. Croatia need to win as well, they are a team built on having the ball and therefore will come out and play against us. They also play the same shape as England which very much suits us - allows us to look to hit them on the break again. In terms of picking the team, if everyone’s fit I think the exact team needs to start to keep the momentum going. My only criticism of Friday was that Clarke didn’t make more subs to ensure boys like Tierney were fully fit for Monday, however if they are fit they should start - and they will.
the snudge
I should be far more nervous than I am. I think we'll do it. Same energy and intensity as Wembley should see us beat Croatia. Same starting line up. If Steve Clarke manages to do this, where will we build the statue?

Why would he possibly have subbed our best player at 0-0? If we lost a goal then we were done.

ropy
That confirms McGregor’s position but leaves scope for a more attacking option?

If that’s true then it would make more sense that there can be no other close contacts as it seems unlikely anyone would think complete non-contact is possible. still_game
Surely the England midfield would be close contacts? Oh wait they didnt get close enough to Gilmour to be counted as close contacts
LiviLion
The England team might need to get tested but they will all be negative because during the course of Friday evenings match they didn't particular get very close to Gilmour LOL!
