Not a specific dig at St Mirren though to be honest as they're far from the only one. ARE THOSE TICKETS AVALIABLE TO AWAY FANS? Yes/no. Its not hard. Also worth noting that the ticket company is Future Ticketing who are the ones f*cking up Perth Saints European matches with varying ticket systems as their software cannot cope.
PSJ.84
Can’t imagine there’d be too many St. Mirren fans that would choose to sit in the ‘away’ stand as opposed to where they’d usually sit. May end up just purchasing a ticket in that stand a living with whatever happens should it be home or away fans. Having just had a look there, six whole tickets have been sold in that section - tells its own story. Arch Stanton
Thank fuck. means we won't have to listen to "One Saints in Scotland" and "Saintees Saintees! Saintees Saintees!". Seriously though, I don't see the need for this. We have little over 3000 STHs and with half the Main Stand available as well as the West and South Stands, that is a total of around 5000 seats and that would me more than enough for STHs and PATG, leaving the North stand free for the away support.

St Johnstone fans have never had a chant or song that has "Saintee's Saintees" EVER.
RandomGuy.
No shock to see St Mirren following Celtics lead by shutting away fans out. Probably go the whole way and refuse to PPV the game aswell. Edited August 24, 2021 by RandomGuy.

To the tune of the Big Ben chimes. Obviously before your time.

Probably go the whole way and refuse to PPV the game aswell. I've already quoted the St. Mirren statement saying that PPV is available for £12.50 so put the petted lip away. As I've also said, it's a poor decision. There's enough capacity in the Main, West and South Stands to accommodate all of the Saints support which would leave the North Stand available to the Saintees.
Radford
St Mirren are saying there is a section there for you if you want it, aren't they? Understand their hands are maybe tied but they are doing best to make it obvious.

It holds about 300 and I'm sure if it sells out another section(s) will open up.
RandomGuy.
Don't think it would be a wise idea for many of our support to be amongst opposition fans tbh.

There's screenshots of them saying that going about but looks like they've edited any existence of that out the post on their site if that's where it came from? their ticket system does say there is "away" tickets though. Possibly. The Saintees supporting MP for Paisley North has bought one though.
jamamafegan
What a bunch of c***s St Mirren are. 8000 seater ground and still couldn’t somehow accommodate a small number of away fans. Ground will be half empty! Joke of an excuse.

Coventry Saint
I knew we were minted, but I didn't realise we were so comfortable financially that we could knock back the income from the travelling fans of European giants such as St Johnstone.

You realise you've barely more than 400 more season ticket holders than us don't you? I don't think we were far off 1000 at Arbroath. Always hilarious when clubs with 3000 regular fans think they're some form of big guns
Mr Positive, sometimes.
St. Mirren had on their site those tickets were for away fans. Fans bought tickets. St. Mirren later amended the site and Saints have posted saying no away fans. Mental that businesses that specialise in organising spectator sports and have been doing it for decades don't have a fucking clue what they're doing.
