Trogdor
I think Afolabi should be up top with Moffat behind him. It seems to be the other way round though.

Looking for a manager in the middle of the season is a nightmare unless there is an outstanding candidate already unemployed.
Raith Against The Machine
We've been backs to the wall since the goal. Maybe an inch this side of outright panic stations. I can't remember Tait having a game as bad as this, and the second half has totally passed BRS by. Given his only real job is to disrupt the opposition, that's really not a great thing. And now it looks like Dick is really struggling, after injuring himself kicking someone in the face. So very Raith Rovers, darling.

Trogdor
It would be nice if Duffy sets us up to win football matches rather than not lose. He seems to have resorted to Hopkinesque tactics of late. First half was as bad as we've been all season. Second half was better but begs the question as to why we were so passive and disinterested first half.
D'Jaffo
Feel like we should’ve at least taken a point there with either Chalmers or McKenzies chance. The one thing I will say is that the times that we’ve come out in the second half and improved points to Duffy at least being able to get them fired up a bit and squeeze whatever effort those players have in them out. For that, he’s already better than Kerr and Hopkin but why can’t the players put that effort in from the first minute. If anything that second half makes the result even more frustrating as we are clearly capable of putting up a fighting effort but there’s been so many times they’ve just looked like they can’t be arsed.
Raith Against The Machine
Well, there's a lot to be said for grinding out a result, and that collapse doesn't happen if we've got either Matthews or Spencer on the park, but we should've been out of sight with how poor Ayr were in the first half. Credit to the back four and the defence. When everyone else lost their heads, they more-or-less managed to keep theirs, Berra and Lang in particular. They were imperious. Lang a standout man of the match, for me. Edited October 30, 2021 by Raith Against The Machine
embow
And breathe! That was a horrendous second half. Why can't we just maintain a full ninety minutes of flowing football as per the first half? We lost Brad, fair enough, but surely there's enough nous and ability to get over that. Any team that presses us and we just can't cope. Ayr well worth a point from that game. Edited October 30, 2021 by embow

You’re ignoring the fact Duffy completely rewrote his own team selection and tactics at half time. He gets credit for the change, but has questions to answer on how he set us up in the first place.

Perhaps he doesn't see where the goals come from and believes focusing on not losing goals is our best option. The evidence though seems to suggest he's very wrong as we lose more goals when we play a defensive formation, probably because we have very little out ball, when everyone's sitting so deep and have to face wave after wave of attack.
