dirty dingus Posted Thursday at 08:52 Share Posted Thursday at 08:52 I apologise for quoting the Fail but things have become a little shadier. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13597899/jay-slater-airbnb-british-man-convicted-drug-dealer.html
Hedgecutter Posted Thursday at 09:36 Share Posted Thursday at 09:36 (edited) Putting the convicted drug dealer who's just finished a ~10 year jail sentence and felt the need to clarify that Jay turned up to his (booked under a different and presumedly false name) pad alive to one side, who has a choice between i) a 2.5 hrs bus wait over breakfast time, ii) a mammoth 11 hour hike in a foreign country, and decides to go with the second option? Nothing remotely suspicious there. Nothing at all. Quote "The only comment I have to make is that Jay came to the house alive, and he left the house alive." ... He is known to have left the property at around 7.30am to catch a bus back towards his holiday apartment. A witness said he asked her when the next bus was. When she told him the next one wasn't until 10am, he is believed to have attempted to walk the 11 hours it would have taken him to get back to his holiday let. I for one am taken aback that there is more to Jay's disappearance than met the eye a couple of weeks back.

Not so sure, I've been stuck in a taxi queue outside Hamilton Palace at 3am and decided f**k it and done the hour walk home rather than queue for 15 mins so I can see his logic

Biden plagiarising Neil Kinnock was the most blatant.

I did a 5 mile walk in the early hours fairly recently fwiw, justifying it as a £30p/h pro rata healthy job. That said, I used my future 'earnings' to buy a few more 'in for a penny in for a pound' drinks before setting off.
