CALDERON
Can't wait. Breakfast with a few beers, train, more beers in Arbroath, and hopefully a good Rovers support penned in behind the goal. I'd take a draw, still leaves it in our own hands to be top after playing Killie and Partick.

embow
Ok. I'll try again. Will it be a WINdy experience? Obviously the little emojis have caused confusion. Edited November 21, 2021 by embow

Hank Scorpio
Got the train up booked for mid morning, should get to Arbroath for about mid day. Never had a proper day out in Arbroath, only ever gone to and from the game by car. Suggestions for lunch and pints before and after the game welcome.
Michael W
It is a shame it's the cup on Saturday to break up the momentum. More of an annoyance also that we have the Diddy Cup game in Inverness on the Tuesday as well. Send as much of a reserve team as we can to that one, seriously. Massive game. Indeed, or subsequent league games are against Killie (h) and Partick (a). A real test for us coming up. We could be top of the league after this, or indeed we could be fifth. Mad. Pubs - station bar, west port bar, bar 1320 and Tutties. For food and pints go to Coast.
steakngravy
There's a Wetherspoons in Arbroath which is OK have had food there before and didn't have any problems. There are a few bars down by the harbour but not sure about meals you could always get a smokie supper somewhere I believe there are a few outlets in town.

The Townhouse are doing a 3 course meal plus 5 drinks plus a taxi to the ground for £35. The Townhouse is lower high street, this is very popular and might be sold out. Loads of pubs all within 10 minutes walk of ground.

steakngravy
No there's another pub across the road that you can use if your wee legs are no up for a climb.

Tattie36
Plenty of good pubs in Arbroath, absolutely zero reason to set foot in weatherspoons.
steakngravy
It's been a couple of years since I was last in Arbroath's Wetherspoons , in fact maybe longer and had forgotten where the loo was cheers for pointing me in the right direction. The food was ok then but things change. Is that pie shop still up the road from the bus station?
