I don’t think a light hearted joke about tractors is the same as a poor taste comment around a problem that kills more people in Scotland than anywhere else on the continent is the same champ but whatever floats your boat.

Solvent maybe, but I expect we made a big loss, even with two cup wins. We'll find out in a week or so when the results come out.

Some of the money will have gone to re-instating our depleted bank balance. As for the rest, we haven't really had a chance to spend it yet.  Would be nice if we could have done it strategically, with an eye to the future, but I doubt that's the case now.

They'll have been planning for the next 2 windows for the past few months.

I guess the issue is how easily you can get the players you want in the January window, and then the uncertainty of our top flight position for Summer dealings.

The past Summer really was a disaster on multiple levels.
