101
Australian wins silver at least, the commentators congratulate her by saying. "Partially for Britain of course with her husband" f**k that let folk have their time in the lime light who cares who they are married too.
peasy23
Good start for Mouat and co as they take a 4 at the second end to lead 4-1.
Left Back
Went to the red button to watch the rest of the curling. Says it’s curling they’re showing but it’s arseholes sliding down mountains on planks of wood. Useless British Broadcasting c***s
Bully Wee Villa
It's on red button now. They were having a break after the fifth end.
Donathan
They win 7-6 in a game that was far more comfortable than the score line suggests (last end technically a steal of two as Mouat was just hitting away their stones. Could have easily drawn and won 8-4) Now 3-1 and in a share of second place behind Sweden. Next game is at lunchtime against winless Denmark so they’ll hope to get to 4-1 before Monday’s showdown with the Swiss
Donathan
Sweden with a daylight robbery win over Norway which is pretty bad news
Donathan
Muirhead and co 3-2 up against Denmark in the 7th end. Again, feels like it’s been more comfortable than the scoreboard suggests.
peasy23
Should have been a 2 there.
Donathan
Steal of 3 and Denmark have waved the white flag. GB wins 7-2 and get a second straight win to move right into the playoff mix
Donathan
Jennifer Dodds was particularly fantastic this morning
peasy23
Good day so far in the curling with the men up against Denmark at lunchtime looking to move to 4-1. Annoyingly the 1 defeat was against the Yanks who have struggled and are toiling to qualify after going 2-3 in their first 5 games.
Donathan
China’s win over Korea means that Muirhead’s team are in 3rd place at the midway stage of the round robin. Switzerland are the pace setters at 5-0 whilst Japan are 3-1 and have a game in hand to lie in second place. There’s a 3-way tie at 3-2 between GB, Sweden and USA, but GB sit in third place having beaten both. 2014 champions Canada have it all to do at 1-3 and they are the next opponents for GB at lunchtime our time tomorrow. Last four are Canada tomorrow lunchtime, Japan 6am Tuesday, China very late Tuesday night and then ROC on Thursday morning. I think they need a 3-1 record to make the semi finals.
Bully Wee Villa
Just looking at ice hockey format... there are 12 teams in the group stage. The top, erm, 12 teams go into the knockout stage. What the f**k? Edited February 13, 2022 by Bully Wee Villa
peasy23
Just looking at ice hockey format... there are 12 teams in the group stage. The top, erm, 12 teams go into the knockout stage. What the f**k?The men's had 3 groups of 4 and the women 2 groups of 5. All the group stage did was sort out who went straight through to the quarter finals and who had to play in the qualification playoff. The Swiss women finished bottom of their but have now managed to get into the semi finals. They are up against Canada though who gubbed them 12-1 in the group stage.
