DeeTillEhDeh
The thing is that the Ukraine invasion is happening now and you haven't said a word against it. Of course there have been other unjust wars and atrocities but by continually bringing them up it makes it look like you're condoning this one. Also by continually repeating the propaganda line that the Russians are only trying to free the Ukrainians from Nazis. The irony is that most of these posturing anti-American leftists wouldn't be tolerated by their Russian comrades.PS Just on cue H_B rehashes the same propaganda.

"They [Ukraine] need support with more artillery, that is what we will be giving them. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-61155035 Are we giving them weapons or selling them? Are we, the taxpayers, paying for the weapons or is Ukraine buying them?

We are currently giving them weapons to fight Russia.

The question of why people are so angry about Russian killings and other crimes yet are wholly comfortable with their own government doing these things is extremely important. Fullerene
Some people have called Putin a monster while others have called him a raving loony. It seems obvious which party is to blame for encouraging all of this.

ICTChris
Russian forces have made a breakthrough in the Northern Donbas, heading towards Lyman. There are more reports of Mig fighters to be provided to Ukraine through various means, this has been said before. Canada and the US have undertaken to supply artillery to Ukraine.
Mr Waldo
It has been reported that, during a town meeting, Rozovka (and a chunk of surrounding territory) "decided to join the Donetz Republic". We should note. 1) Many civilians have fled and left leaving, mostly, the vulnerable and elderly. 2) A town meeting is not really a referendum. 3) The town is already under Russian / rebel control, so is it a question of duress? If true, I think we'll probably see more of this - Russia absorbing more territory by simply gathering a few locals together.

You think that the wrongful actions of the U.K. government in Iraq and Afghanistan or rotten apples within the British Army in Kenya, somehow exonerate the crimes of Putin’s forces in Ukraine? Wow.

And probably UK and US secret death squads.

Wow. No I don't think that. I'm just puzzled as to many people are far more concerned about Russian crimes than the crimes of the country they live in. The UK currently has troops in Syria and forces in Saudi Arabia orchestrating a bombing campaign which has killed 300,000 Yemenis yet it barely merits a mention compared to Ukraine and Russia. In your post it's "bad apples" and "wrongful actions" when it's the UK but "crimes" for Russia. You probably don't even realise you are doing it.
