Ross County v St. Johnstone - Sat, 26th Feb

Really interested to see how Butterfield performs with Hallberg beside him. Not been overly convinced by him yet, but I guess there are some mitigating circumstances
Yeah, think it made a real difference last week having both Davidson and Hallberg be doing a power of work defensively freeing Crawford. Butterfields better on the ball but really lacks mobility. Hopefully Davidson not unavailable for long.

Any news of when Bryson is back available?

In the Courier last night that Rooney is expected back some time next month with Bryson not too far behind him. Cammy MacPherson back soon too. Touch would, but the squad looks as though it could be in a extremely healthy position going into the split

Happy with that, we look competitive these days which is a huge improvement. Can talk about a lot before the equaliser but you're not preventing Charles-Cook getting a single chance all game and he took it really well, so fair play.

We need to find a way to counter County's full backs sitting high and wide, but thats a risky as f**k move for them when we're playing out strikers in the channels off the ball.

More goals in this game IMO.

Saints commentators saying we were the better side upto the equaliser, not convinced.

Neither team look particularly threatening in terms of creating chances, but County have been far better on the ball, playing through us quite well.

We seem to want to get the ball forward as early as possible and feed off the scraps.  Careless in good positions again, especially Crawford.

Not much between the teams abs very few chances. Nice goal for us but a disappointing one to concede - really came from nowhere, a tackle that’s broken to RCC and he’s finished it beautifully.

Id like to see Gallacher getting on top of Watson a bit more and ideally the central pair to dictate play a bit more.

Just now, Shaggy Jenkins said:

Too many aimless balls just booted forward and our midfield is not competitive at the moment

County's full backs sitting high and wide so I think they want to exploit that a bit, but maybe wrong.

It's not coming off so maybe a change of approach in the second half needed. Middleton off for a Ciftci and try and play it central more or something.
