Two consecutive posts bashed out by your elbows it would appear.

Cute rant, but given neither are in any way related to anything I actually said it's no wonder your grasp of the legal mechanism that sets the price cap is so poor.

They’re only not related in your head.

You can be technically right on something while also clearly ignoring the bigger picture. It’s a bizarre cause you appear to have dedicated yourself to.

I look forward to you repeating the same spiel in 3/6 months time whenever someone has the audacity to complain about energy prices. Keep fighting the good fight.

You'll be out of luck then as they'll be going back down both times.

I’ve never won anything but the trivia fact they give you every time you lose is well worth it……………

On the plus side I’ve found them pretty good to deal with.

Won a quid a couple of times. It's actually got the morbid humour to show a message saying "bet you thought no one ever won anything" when you do.

Anyone on here use EON as their supplier?? We are having major issues. For the last 4 months we've had a faulty smart meter and not been able to get accurate readings. We had an outstanding bill of £239 which were preparing to pay. Last week the bill increased to £689 due to "previous usage", which is bollocks, as all previous bills were paid. We were also told that because of the hassle there was no bill for last month. A smart meter was installed today, and is currently showing £2162!! How the f**k can this possibly happen?? 2 of us in the house, both out working all day, only certain appliances left on overnight,  and central heating on a timer.

^^^ Fooling no-one about not having a canabis farm...

Joking aside, it seems unlikely that the root cause will be that you've had two faulty meters. Can you not see the daily / hourly breakdown of this alleged usage?

Someone reckons the new meter might have been picking up a combination of usage from previous bills, and might "catch up and sort itself out" within 24 hours. I don't know...  but they are going to be dealing with a very angry wife on the phone Tommorow..

Instead of being a moronic knob, come back when "3/6 months" have elapsed from the time of your post and the projected drop for April has actually been announced.
