The bulk of incorrect refereeing amasses to Roofe not getting booked for something Ferguson got booked for?

Because let’s be serious, it was never a foul on Ramsey at the goal.

In fairness Arfields challenge was a stick on booking BUT Aberdeen players challenge was a Red.

Because it’s blatantly not true. Even in build up to goal a Rangers player is fouled

Point 1 - of course it’s true.

Point 2 - are you alluding to the foul on Bassey by Ramsay when the referee quite rightly allowed play to continue as it was to the advantage of Rangers and actually allowed Rangers to score. Are you seriously saying that was a refereeing mistake? That’s a belter even for you.

I didn’t agree to this.

I'm just a bit bitter that it's now twice a Rangers player has stamped on a Saints player at that height in the last 12 months...

... and neither have been sent off, yet you constantly see Rangers fans mewling everywhere you go about how they get no leeway from officials and are constantly kicked off the park.

The Roofe challenge was probably the worst I can remember seeing last season tbh, although I have also just remembered his challenge on that goalkeeper too.

Can’t decide if its a seriously comedic forum or a comedically serious forum myself tbh.

The bulk of the refereeing decisions I’m talking about are ones which don’t really affect the result. The little, particularly in the first half, fouls given for non-pushes on Rangers players and nothing given for the same level of push on Aberdeen. It’s the accumulation of these type of small fouls given one way but not the other that wears teams down. Obviously the ones highlighted from Saturday were the booking of Ferguson but not Roofe, and the foul on Ramsay not given in the lead up to the goal, but there were many others.

I think you’d need to provide a better example than Saturday’s match to highlight this. There wasn’t a huge disparity in the number of fouls (12-16) and the examples you’ve given don’t really support the claim (we had already conceded a foul at the Roofe incident and it wasn’t a foul on Ramsey at the goal).

I think the best example I can recall from Saturday was tavernier basically awarding himself a foul in front of the main stand. There was minimal contact, he still has the ball but he basically stopped playing until Beaton obliged by blowing his whistle. It was utter nonsense.

I’m only talking about Saturday’s match, nothing else. The 12 fouls that we got were blatant fouls where there was no dubiety. As has been said previously, the classic from Saturday was the booking of an Aberdeen player for blocking a free kick and the non-booking of a Rangers player for exactly the same offence. I suppose the other main example is that a Rangers player commits a potential red card offence and not even a foul is given, and an Aberdeen player commits a potential red card offence and a foul and yellow card are administered.

I’ll bow to your superior recollection of the match. I can’t remember more than a handful of the 28 fouls committed in order for me to say with any certainty that they were definitely/definitely not blatant.

The fact that it’s went from “it should’ve been a foul at the goal” to “Ferguson got booked and Roofe never” to “all our fouls were blatant and your fouls were dubious” smacks of desperation.

Just visited the smallest room in my house, so not desperate.

Re Part 2 what about all the other shirt pulls and niggly fouls that went unpunished?

What about the time wasting from the first minute until we scored? Why do referees never punish this early in a game? They always wait until five minutes to go before punishing it!

The Roofe / Ferguson incidents are not even nearly comparable. Actually why wasn’t Ferguson given second yellow for chasing after referee screaming at him to book an opponent. Thanks for highlighting yet another one of your players who should have been off. That’s 3 now

Excuse me AB person, it was you that brought up the foul on Bassey where the referee allowed play to continue to Rangers advantage. Now you’re scrambling making stuff up. Do you realise you won the match?

😀

Off the charts.

Imagine how you'd cope supporting a team that didn't get everything going all the time?
