Hampden Diehard
We're not a barometer of success in League 1 at all. However, we haven't had much of Murray on the park this season and Quitongo has hardly played at all in 12 months. If both had been regulars, I've no doubt we would have fared considerably better than we did. We took a gamble on the fitness of them both and it's not worked out that well this season. However, both are potential game winners and must be a nightmare to play against. I didn't see anyone in the Pars team I would be afraid of to the same extent. If the two of them click on Saturday, we could sneak it. A quick goal for either side, I think, will kill it.
AlwaysAPar
Positive records for Dunfermline: - Our home form is decent - We’ve kept a clean sheet in 4 of our last 6 home playoff games - Unbeaten against QP since 1985 - QP have 1 win in their last 6 and are a mid-table league 1 side Worrying records for Dunfermline: - Every opponent we’ve ever faced in a playoff has scored at least twice against us over the course of the tie - We’ve never knocked someone out the playoffs without the tie going to extra time - QP are specialists at grinding out draws - We’re fucking shite Not confident at all tbh I think it’s set up perfectly to go the same way as rovers vs Brechin did when Hughes was there.

Did your goalkeeper make any saves last night? If so, you're a step ahead of Yogi's last outing. Every shot on target across both games, extra time and the penalty shoot out went in.

That's wrong about extra time needed. I think we beat Stranraer in normal time, no? Or am I misremembering?

Aufc
Not sure why anyone is thinking Queen's Park are a barometer of success in League 1. They only finished 6 points ahead of 5th place, were 21 points behind Airdrie and 8 behind Montrose. If we get to the final then I really fear Airdrie or Montrose giving us a bit of a pumping in the away leg. I think, like the Alloa game, we'll be finished by the home leg. Hope not mind. This is what I don’t understand any Queen’s Park saying it was a step up. I could understand if they wiped the floor with the league and were playing a championship team in the cup. However, they finished 4th. I don’t think they managed to beat us all season. Strange. If airdrie manage to get by Montrose and play as well as they can then they will give Dunfermline a decent game
Cardle is Magic
3 wins in 14 and one of those was utterly meaningless. Leaves just Stranraer and Forfar when we eventually ran over the top of part-time sides in extra time. Miserable.

In fairness I think Airdrie's play off record is equally as bad and perhaps a Montrose fan will confirm, but I believe theirs ain't great either.

He’s been a regular when fit over the past two seasons but he has had a few spells out injured for several weeks (including just now). I suspect we might not see him in a QP jersey again.

Forfar in 2013 and Stranraer in 2014 we’re both settled in extra time and killed our chances in the final. Other than that I agree with the majority of your post.
foreverarover
That's mindblowing tbh because I thought both sides looked dreadful and the game was teeth-achingly boring.Went as a neutral as I live nearby. I think the pitch can take some blame but it was woeful watching. Pars on a decent pitch should, should have enough at East End Pk. I was expecting far more than what I saw from Queens Pk.
