"Wouldn't it be just like the Premier league to sign off for the break with a late winner? "

Classic Tyler there.

Also "the league of late goals". I trust he has the stats to back up that claim vs all the other leagues.

Fulham look like an actual Premier League side for the first time in about a decade

Shame about the manager, big Mers’ thinks they should sack him and get a proper Englishman in like Brucey. He knew Silva was no good since he came in at Hull.

Ronaldo, undoubtedly one of the best players of all time, has always been a pathetic, spoiled man child and nothing he has done is remotely surprising given how desperate he is to be the certain of attention. The kind of guy who can never retire as his life will have no other meaning.

I wonder if being such a toxic personality actually helped him become the player he is, obsessive perfectionism means you're a bit of a w****r but it does help you stay on top of your fitness.

Can you imagine meeting him? I would probably cross the road to avoid him.

I can’t think of another case of a player so openly bad mouthing the team that he still represents. Terminate his contract immediately.

I would imagine the Man U board will be quietly delighted by this interview, has probably saved them a huge pay off. Most managers would be reluctant to get him now would say too.

^ depends how he performs at the WC. He's going to get significant game time and if he performs there will be moneyball clubs (owners) still just thinking about selling shirts with his name - such as Chelsea, Newcastle, PSG (could you imagine the media w**k-a-thon if he & Messi were to join forces..........the practicality of formations/finances etc would all be over-looked/ignored)

Ronaldo referred to himself as a slave in his first spell at Man Utd when Real Madrid were sniffing about him and they didn’t want to sell him.

He gets a weekly wage that 99.999999999999% of the worlds population can only dream of making in their entire working lives. He can shut the f**k up about the supposed hardships he is facing.

If true, this is surely the end for Erik ten Weeks. I would expect a proper Manchester United man like Mark Robins (what a job he is doing at Coventry, by the way) to be photographed at Carrington over the coming days.

Man United have only ever been successful with Scottish managers

I see Ronaldo is now getting stuck into the Glazers...

"Manchester are a marketing club - they get money from the marketing,"

"It will be hard for Manchester to be top of the game in the next two or three years."

"The owners of the club, the Glazers, they don't care about the club, professional sport."

He has a point but what part of "elite level" football is not driven by marketing these days? Ronaldo is one of the biggest marketing whores in football. You just need to look at his social media profiles to see the various brands, products and services he is endorsing.

Ronaldo has played a blinder here, Man Utd were not going to sell him so he does this to all but guarantee his exit.

Anyone surprised at the guy being a complete cock, hasn't really been paying attention to his career for any part of the last 20 years.

If Man Utd had any form of backbone, they'd have him see out the rest of his contract rotting in the reserves.

He's stating the obvious while ignoring the fact that the money from the marketing helps pay his obscene £500k a week.
