Players like Dan and Alfie worked really hard and looked better than other players but on the bench at new teams. Think to lose by 2 goals was a bit harsh, but, our heads were only at the races at the start at the 2nd half. Not sure how a linesman can make calls from 10 yards behind play.. consistently through 90 mins. Next week is a must win. Not a great 1st half but vastly improved the 2nd with Docherty heading home a corner and Jack scoring another long range free kick and before that I thought we should have had a penalty. Had Kilby rattled and they had a quick succession of bookings before a red card. Quite a poor goal to give away for the third as was the penalty. Most pleasing thing is the manager and team just never give up always trying for the 90 minutes. Would be interesting playing EK with a full strength squad. Ewan not long hopefully but next week may come too soon. Rodden can play for sure next 2 games. Tough loss today but again showed good signs and character to come from 2 down but then losing 2 goals which were avoidable. Big fcukin game. The injuries have been a huge blow! I still believe that with a full squad we would have won against Broomhill and more than matched EK. You started brighter, better and we were sluggish as a result. Your first goal from a corner, can happen, your second from a free kick was a peach. We then got a good goal to go 3-2 up and should have seen the game out. Ally had been booked for for moaning about being fouled every single time time he went for a ball. Understandable but wrong. Then he put up high foot, absolutely no intent, but there you go. Then we get to the core of this game. EK in years past would have folded. Not this group. Down to 10 men, how would we react ?
