Cowden316
Good work out for Cowden today against The Swifts. Still enjoyable watching us play. Only criticism is we weren't clinical enough but at least we are creating. Honestly great feeling watching us just now and a sense of positivity. We need to keep that going into next season Happy Fans Happy Club Happy Team to then hopefully turn out to be Happy days.

How was the trialist centre-half?
CowdenMiners1204
Credit to the IHS keepers today, kept the score low, with the Swifts almost suckerpunching us twice during the last 10 minutes. Thought their number 7 was impressive as well. There's a lot of good players in our squad and there will definitely be offers during the season for them! Very impressed with our loan goalkeeper 10x better than Farrell. The trialist one not so much. I'd prefer we don't sign Dougie Hill though. The left back that replaced Tait was called Andy? All in all, good runout and great to see a lot of Cowden fans in attendance, Bluebell needs to work on his penalties though! Same like Davo, brings a lot of experience to the younger players, however, there is better we can bring to our club.

NELLY 1
Great support today. Keep coming along and supporting the boys they appreciate it. Tough games for league Cup campaign but the boys will embrace it. You can see the good football and pace and energy we have. We have some excellent footballers that can play at a higher level. Good performance and to be fair today that could have been 7 or 8-1. Big jump in calibre and opposition next week and beyond but the boys will give their all. Mon the cowden.

Scored the equalizer against Stenny at Ochilview which set Cowden up for the win which was crucial in the run in to our Championship success.
CowdenLoyal
If the manager thinks Dougie can still do a job with us at this level and Dougie wants to play, that would do for me.

Well, the manager knows best. I was worried about Davo but he was a standout almost every game.

You'll still get a good 45 mins from Dougie if needed , experienced, tough as auld bits and pops up with a goal now and again and that was last season in league 1 so would defo take him in LL even if just for cover at least you know what your getting
therewasacoo
Another goalkeeper announced does this mean Danny farrel on his way out?
Cowdenleith
Call me confused…. Be sad if Dan was on his way out, think he’s a very decent keeper. I know new managers have their own ideas, but the fact he signed an extension showed some loyalty on his part. That would leave us with two 18 year old keepers.
cowdenbeath0-3
Hope it doesn’t mean danny is on his way out but can understand if he’s been told he’ll be no.2 to hepburn. Lack of defenders is worrying for me, correct me if wrong but we have one left back and one right back?

NELLY 1
Think it's only right to update fans on Danny. Danny was magnificent for us and a great lad also. Danny wasn't going to be number 1 this season and is too good to be a number 2. So for him and from financial point of view we all came to a mutual agreement. To show how good a lad danny is he also got in touch to say he has his gk gloves for one of the ball boys who he promised last season. The 2 new gks although young are very good and although it's disappointing sometimes tough decisions need made both from a football and financial viewpoint.
