TheHitman
As many of us know and feel, the club have not got a lot right this season so far off the pitch. And although some of those wrongs are yet to be put right (namely keeping fans up to date with stadium developments, kick off changes etc). Credit where it is due, the club organised and arranged an excellent return to the south side. Yes it was to Hampden and there are those who have feelings about that, but Saturday was an important milestone in our journey. To see all the kids, community groups and friends of fans come along for the occasion can only help the club re-establish its place back in the community, in Glasgow. Even if we only capture a small percentage of those kids or groups to return, it’s still a huge positive. Helped that the team made it a great occasion too, some superb goals ️️ Edited December 5, 2022 by TheHitman
Frank Grimes
When are Queens Park moving into lesser Hampden permanently?
realmadrid
I decided to go along rather than take in a Midland league game with it possibly being one of the last Queens Park games at Hampden. I was a bit taken by surprise at the size of the crowd. It was also quicker to pay to get in with cash than join the QR code lines but still took nearly 15 minutes to get in. Very impressed with the level of supporters in Queens colours, we have done this sort of thing at Saints and you can spot the groups who are just there because its free. My picture of the day showing a young fan and his Queens Park flag.

Weirdly obsessed for some reason I merely pointing out that the crowd was so big due to free tickets. There was so much noise about how QP had suddenly built up a massive support by winning matches and challenging at the top end of the championship. Not quite true I’m afraid.

Hope that makes you sleep easy tonight knowing that now I can’t recall anyone at any point saying we achieved a substantial support specifically as a result of our good form? It was common knowledge that the club had advertised from the get go that many of the local community were getting in for nothing. Nice attempt at your made up narrative however Edited December 5, 2022 by qpfc

Anonymous Spider
Smashing stuff on Saturday. Especially pleased to see the us back up the off-field efforts with a right good show on the pitch. Some very classy goals. Be interesting to see what kind of crowd we get on Saturday... not actually seen the pricing, I'm hoping it's sensible.
el jubilado
Sure I read somewhere (Montrose website?) that it was £10 and £5 for concessions. Hope that’s correct!

Zanetti
They've just announced that the Montrose game will be free for season tickets holders too, which on top of very reasonable pricing is great to see.
Spiders67
Just want to add to all the other great comments on what has been a fantastic few days to be a QP fan. Making the Montrose games free for members/season ticket holders with a good pricing structure otherwise is fantastic stuff There's a real positivity around the club at the moment and the committee etc need to be congratulated for creating that, there was a lot of bad feeling towards the club heading up to Cove only a month ago, since then we have won 4 on the spin and the club have got a lot of things right since then Long may it continue!

Still no definite date for returning to Lesser? The stand is complete, by the looks of it, the floodlight poles are up, so presumably it's a matter of getting the toilets and turnstiles operational and getting a safety certificate, no? Surely January is likely at this point? ETA: Edited December 6, 2022 by G_&_T
