My reading of @Bring Your Own Socks comments are the increase in buildings value in the latest accounts is due to the additional costs that have actually been incurred on the Lesser redevopment debacle rather than inflating the existing asset value. I think I'm correct in saying that the valuation will include the full actual cost of building Lesser, including anything wasted on paying the erstwhile contractors. Like any specialist building that can't easily be turned into something else, the real worth will be the land it sits on. If it wasn't for all the problems that might have arisen (repayment of grants and dealing with possible contamination) we would have been telling the SFA to feck themselves and move to Murrayfield or wherever and sold the site for housing. To be fair, there's absolutely no need to pre-announce signings that you're probably going to tease on the day as well, especially at a time when it's expected we'll be bringing fresh faces in; hopefully that's the only reason there's no mention of it then.
